Role Summary

As an IC Design Engineer, you will develop and implement micro-architectures and RTL designs for complex digital IPs and SoCs. You will work across the full ASIC flow, from RTL coding to synthesis, timing closure, and validation, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and reliable designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement micro-architecture for complex digital blocks.
• Write synthesizable RTL code in Verilog/SystemVerilog for various IPs and SoCs.
• Perform linting, CDC (Clock Domain Crossing), and low-power checks (UPF/CPF).
• Conduct logic synthesis, timing constraints generation, and timing closure support.
• Collaborate with verification engineers to define test plans and ensure design quality.
• Support pre-silicon validation and post-silicon bring-up and debug activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

How you will stand out

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in ASIC design flow and methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in RTL coding using Verilog or SystemVerilog.
• Hands-on experience with synthesis, timing analysis, and scripting languages (e.g., TCL, Python).
• Knowledge of low-power design techniques and power integrity issues is a plus.
• Familiarity with industry-standard EDA tools from Synopsys, Cadence, or Siemens.

Job Scope

· Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects.

· May be involved in pre-drawing submission stage for understanding of design concept.

· Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing them in the field.

· Resolve all site problems encountered during the constructions stage.

· Monitor work in progress by highlighting on shop drawings.

· Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and reporting on the project's status.

· Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.

· Conduct spot or routine site visit to check subcontractor’s workmanship and speed.

· Conduct quality and accuracy performance check on work done by following the checklist.

· Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.

Requirements

· At least a Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant field of study or equivalent work experience

· The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.

· Excellent project management and supervision skills.

· Able to start work within a short notice period or immediately preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assist the Team Directors in the performance of their duties

· Offer suggestions to improve the designs

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• 1 - 3 years of design experience in a consulting environment. Fresh graduates will also be considered.

• Design experience in high rise residential, commercial or mixed development projects

• Project experience handling hospital, data centre, office projects will be advantageous

• Familiar and hands-on knowledge of the latest design software and European code

• Hands-on experience with the analysis and design of large building projects in structural steel, R.C. and post tensioned concrete

• Lead and manage cellular system validation for field test activity in various markets across Singapore.
• 10+ years of experience in the industry with program management, working with cross-functional teams
• 3 years of experience in mobile phone testing of 5G/4G technologies
• Analyze the 5G/4G logs from field test in Singapore and identify keys issues, and work with test and software teams to resolve it.
• Summarize the 5G R15/R16 carrier features, analyze data, and manage bug reporting to drive and secure the Phone modem quality, from modem and telephony perspective.
• Exercise technical acumen to keep goals for programs, projects, and products attainable within a given timeline, while communicating with stakeholders clearly.
• Identify opportunities for field automation and manage development of field automation tools and processes.
• Expertise of cellular radio technologies and features: 3G/4G/5G VoLTE, MIMO, Antenna Design, OSI Stack, 3GPP, IEEE, Etc.
• System-level expertise of Android or Smart Phone OS and its architecture
• Hands on experience with Modems, Cellular, SoC, Network Infrastructure, connectivity and Telephony
• Experience in 5G/4G log analysis and debug issues from field tests
• Experienc with Carrier Certification: PTCRB/GCF or similar
• Development knowledge in Android or IOS or other wireless devices
  Experience in 5G R15/R16 carrier requirements, driving cellular field testing projects across multiple product areas and distributed sites, with engaged resources and priorities
• Experience with 5G (FR2/FR1)/4G Modem/Telephony
• Knowledge of 5G/4G to drive field functional/performance and Carrier test
• Know how to use drive test tools ShannonDM, QXDM, QCAT, Android Debug Bridge, Accuver, Nemo, TEMS, Genex Probe, Android Platform

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced SRE tooling and automation solutions using Python and Java to improve system reliability and operational efficiency across the infrastructure lifecycle
• Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines by applying DevOps best practices and tools to enable rapid, secure, and reliable software delivery and infrastructure provisioning
• Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliability by identifying and resolving complex incidents and implementing preventative automation and root cause analysis
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed SRE principles, establish and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and ensure scalable, robust system architecture and disaster recovery readiness
• Provide secondary support and technical expertise for messaging and middleware platforms, including Kafka and MQ, by assisting with administration, configuration, performance tuning, and incident resolution
• Conduct architectural reviews to identify infrastructure gaps, remediate network vulnerabilities, and guide application teams on operational excellence, security, and compliance best practices

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of progressive experience in DevOps, SRE, or technical infrastructure roles supporting mission-critical systems, preferably in a banking environment
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and Java for automation, scripting, and SRE tool development
• Hands-on experience in Linux administration
• Extensive experience with CI/CD practices and DevOps toolchains such as Jenkins and GitLab CI
• Proficient in version control systems (GIT), project management tools (Jira), and agile methodologies
• Strong understanding and application of SRE principles including SLOs, error budgets, monitoring, alerting, and incident management with demonstrated success in improving system reliability
• Foundational to intermediate hands-on experience with messaging and middleware technologies, specifically Kafka and MQ, including administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a solid understanding of ITIL processes
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-team collaboration to drive operational excellence
• Must have Java, Spring boot
• Good hands on for SQL and Linux.
