About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to support our sales team in designing modern applications and cloud solutions that meet client needs. You will engage with clients, understand their challenges and create scalable, on-premise/cloud-native architecture proposals using Pre-Sales Solutions Architect modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate complex technical requirements into compelling solution proposals.
• Use your technical expertise to support partnership and sales opportunities within your assigned market(s) via Tender/RFP/RFQs, design and software architecture discussions and technical presentations, to name a few
• Design application architecture using microservices, APIs, and on-premise/cloud-native approaches.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and product teams to craft winning solutions.
• Integrate third-party tools, enterprise software, and cloud platforms as part of solution design.
• Support development teams with implementation guidance and best practices.
• Research emerging technologies and trends to enhance our solution portfolio.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in IT with at least 5 years in solution architecture and pre-sales.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, .NET, C#, Microservices, API design, or other stacks.
• Proficient in Cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Kubernetes, government frameworks (e.g., IM8, GCC 2.0) and COST product (e.g., SAP, SF, PegaSystems, NewGen...).
• Experience working with the Singapore Government tender.
• Knowledge of middleware tools (e.g., Kafka, Tibco, Solace, Mulesoft...) and modern front-end frameworks (React, etc.).
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and working in agile environments.
• Familiar with enterprise architecture principles and integration patterns.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP are a plus.
• Experience working with the offshore delivery team is a plus

• Collaborate with Technical Solution Pre-sales and Delivery teams to prepare accurate quotations and proposals aligned with client needs.
• Work closely with Operations, Delivery, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery and account management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies by properly handling and producing sales documentation.
• Research and monitor market and competitive trends to develop strategic sales plans that achieve desired business outcomes.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related disciplines.
• Over 3 years of sales and business development experience in IT services, including B2B and B2C sales.
• Experience in sales and business development within the Singapore Government sector.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and rapid learning abilities.
• Results-oriented, self-motivated with a positive attitude and eagerness to acquire new knowledge.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage internal teams (onshore and offshore) and external clients under high-pressure, cross-functional environments.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a large client network considered an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
