Software Sales

Drive and lead our sales, drive revenue growth, and expand our market presence. In this role, you will develop strategic sales plans, mentor sales representatives, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the SaaS/software landscape, a track record of exceeding quotas, and exceptional leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sales Planning

• Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
• Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts for senior management.

2. Sales Execution & Customer Relationship

• Pipeline Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle, ensuring a healthy pipeline from lead generation to closing.
• Enterprise Deals: Assist in high-level negotiations and closing major deals, particularly with C-level buyers (CIO, CTO).
• Customer Success: Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to drive retention and upsell opportunities.

3. Operations & Collaboration

• CRM Hygiene: Ensure accurate, up-to-date tracking of all sales activities in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align sales strategies and improve product offerings.

Sales Admin

• Prepare quotations, stock status and follow ups
• Assist in documentations and filing
• Coordinate with Operations Division on order status
• Update customers on order fulfilment and delivery
• Verify customers’ billing names
• Verify Payments Received

Sales Support

• Provide customer service
• Make arrangement for showroom visits and product training
• Perform showroom duties and assist in slab markings
• Prepare and replenish collateral like samples and catalogues
• Handle ad hoc duties assigned

Key Responsibilities

·       Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within your assigned territory

·       Manage, monitor, and review the sales performance and ensuring alignment with sales targets.

·       Work closely with customers to achieve and exceed sales objectives

·       Liaise and coordinate with factories on product information, product development, and delivery follow‑up

·       Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales strategies, targets, and action plans in line with the corporate objectives

·       Monitor and review monthly sales results against plans and take concrete corrective actions to ensure targets are met

·       Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for business growth

Requirements

·       Proven track record in a sales engineer or technical sales role

·       Education: Diploma or higher qualification

·       Strong technical skills and ability to explain complex products and solutions

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers

·       Problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges

·       Strong negotiation and presentation skills

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) tools

·       Language Advantage: Able to liaise with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and handle technical documentation

·       Possess valid class 3 driving license
