Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible in operating micro tunnel boring machine (Pipe Jacking Machine) within varying ground conditions and according to provided tunnelling parameters. He is responsible for the safe, technical and economical operation of the pipe jacking machine, through the control room and to ensure the various projects are executed within the approved schedule and according to project parameters.

Assist in the mobilization and de-mobilization of the pipe jacking operations for any site setup and ensure preventive maintenance of all equipment are performed appropriately.

Requirements

• Lead coordination across design teams, vendors, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure alignment of process requirements and project objectives
• Review and approve process engineering deliverables (P&IDs, layouts, isometrics) to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and constructability
• Plan and control installation, testing, and commissioning activities for process systems, ensuring timely and quality delivery
• Monitor overall site progress and proactively drive subcontractors to meet project schedule, quality, and safety targets
• Manage interfaces with other disciplines (MEP, cleanroom, equipment) to ensure seamless system integration and avoid clashes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, or industrial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of process systems such as UPW, PCW, CDA, specialty gas, and chemical distribution systems
• Experience in site coordination, installation, and commissioning is preferred
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple priorities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversees the preparation, negotiation, administration, and management of contracts for construction
  projects.
• Oversees Contract award, negotiates commercial terms and conditions for new contracts and change orders.
• Oversees and guide the team on Quantity take-off, estimation, cost planning, subcontracting, Variation
  Orders and negotiation of final accounts with clients.
• Reviews progress of all on-going projects and ensures compliance with contract terms, manages risks, and supports project teams in resolving contractual issues.
• Responsible and lead the team on monthly progress claims, evaluates and prepare Subcontractors’ claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis and monitor schedule performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute the implementation of Quality Control (QC) plans, ensuring that all phases of the project adhere to company policies, contractual specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Conduct on-site inspections and tests to evaluate the quality of materials, workmanship, and installations
• Ensure quality assurance (QA) procedures are applied during all phases of the project (from pre-construction through to final acceptance)
• Lead the execution of quality checks (QC) and ensure that the testing process is carried out in line with project specifications and regulations
• Perform site inspections, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions to ensure that quality standards are met
• Conduct regular training sessions and ensure that QC team members are knowledgeable about quality standards, project-specific requirements, and safety protocols
