Financial Accounting

·      Assist with monthly closing activities and preparation ofjournals.

·      Prepare and review account reconciliations and financialschedules.

·      Maintain the chart of accounts and support statutory accounts& XBRL requirements.

·      Provide support during audits and insurance renewals.

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

·      Review sales and purchase ledgers.

·      Support intercompany billings and debtors/vendorsreconciliation.

·      Prepare commissions, payroll journals, and vendor payments.

GST & Tax

·      Assist with GST submissions and reconciliation tests.

·      Prepare tax and deferred tax workings.

·      Support corporate tax computations alongside Head Office and taxconsultants.

Fixed Assets & Capex

·      Maintain the fixed asset register and capex records.

·      Prepare costing for demo registrations.

Cashflow & Banking

·      Monitor daily cashflow and update daily reports.

·      Liaise with financial institutions on account, signatory, andfunding matters.

Cross-functional Support

·      Provide guidance to shared services and operations on day‑to‑dayaccounting matters.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

7. Follow established procedures for processing receipts

Qualification, Required Experience, Competencies and Skills

1. Diploma in Accounting / Finance with 3-5 years of AR and accounting experience
2. Knowledge of accounts receivable and general accounting principles
3. Proficient in relevant ERP systems (Esker or Microsoft Dynamics 365)
4. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
5. Attention to detail and accuracy

Key Responsibilities

• Full Set of Accounts

Handle full set of accounts for theSingapore entity, including AR/AP, GL, bank reconciliation, andmonth-end/year-end closing.

• Compliance & Tax Filing

Ensure compliance with Singapore FinancialReporting Standards (SFRS) and regulatory requirements from Inland RevenueAuthority of Singapore (IRAS), including GST filing and corporate tax matters.

• Financial Processes & Controls

Assist in establishing and improvingfinancial processes and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency andaccuracy.

• Audit & External Liaison

Coordinate with external auditors and taxagents for annual audit and statutory reporting.

• Head Office Reporting

Liaise with the China headquarters onfinancial reporting, consolidation support, and management reporting.

• Bank & External Stakeholders

Maintain communication with banks,auditors, and other relevant institutions.

• Cross-border Tax Support

Support the company in cross-border tax compliance and structuring, including understanding and applying Double Taxation Agreements (DTA) between Singapore and other jurisdictions (especially China, Southeast Asia, and the United States). Assist in planning tax-efficient profit repatriation (e.g., dividends) while ensuring compliance with economic substance requirements.

Requirements

• Experience

Minimum 3–5 yearsof full set accounting experience in Singapore

Familiar with Singapore businessenvironment and company regulations

Industry Background (Preferred)

Engineering / construction / project-basedcompanies

Trading or import-export businesses

• Qualifications

Bachelor’s degreein Accounting, Finance, or related field

Professional certifications preferred:

Institute of Singapore CharteredAccountants (ISCA)

Association of Chartered CertifiedAccountants (ACCA)

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

• Language Skills

Fluent in English (spoken and written) – mandatory

Mandarin is a plus (to liaise with ChinaHQ)

• Technical Skills

Good knowledge of Singapore tax regulations(Corporate Tax & GST)

Familiar with CPF and payroll-relatedregulations

Proficient in accounting systems (Xero,QuickBooks, SAP)

• Nice to Have

Experience in cross-border finance (China–Singapore)

Prior experience handling external auditsindependently

Experience in process improvement or systemimplementation
