Manage daily administrative activities for the Instrument Calibration Division, including document preparation, raise PR, arrange logistical support and report generation.

• Coordinate various stakeholders to support team non-technical operations effectively.

• Maintain records and assist with procurement processes to ensure timely process of calibration & repair jobs.

• Facilitate communication within the division and with external vendors, maintaining professional and courteous interactions at all times.

•Record financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

•Prepare and send out monthly SOA to our debtors.

• Oversee and maintain cashflow. Review the system for invoicing, tracking payments as well as aging analysis of outstanding AP/AR.

• Ensure good practice in recording and filing of expenses.

• Ongoing reconciliation of bank and cash accounts, ensuring that the books are balanced.

• Ensure inter-company accounts are balanced and reconciled.

• Oversee year-end procedures - accruals, prepaids, receivables and payables; any other journals as required.

• Financial year-end preparation of accounts for audit. Liaise with Auditors to ensure clean signoff. Follow up on closing any audit gaps.

Join Pacific Engineering & Services as a Sales Executive to visit customers, promote marine products, build relationships, and generate sales enquiries, supported by an in-house technical team.

Responsibilities

• Visit existing and potential customers in the marine and shipping industry to promote products and services
• Present marine pumps, equipment, and spare parts effectively to customers to generate interest and sales enquiries
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact and follow-ups
• Generate new business opportunities by identifying customer needs and market trends
• Coordinate with internal technical and sales support teams to ensure customer requirements are met
• Attend customer meetings and site visits to support sales activities and customer engagement
• Work independently with a self-motivated approach to meet sales targets and contribute to team goals
• Occasional overseas travel may be required for customer visits and business activities.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent
• Friendly and confident personality to engage customers at all levels
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with diverse customer groups
• Comfortable approaching new customers without hesitation
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Team player with a cooperative working attitude
• Sales experience in marine, engineering, or industrial industries is an advantage
• Possession of a Class 3 driving licence is an advantage
