Position Summary

• Supports the monitoring of Asia-pacific regional units’ business plans, review of actuarial calculations (EV, pricing etc.) and communication with top management. Also monitor, manage and supervise the actuarial operational matters implemented by the regional business units and ensure that they follow the standard of DL Group.  
• Leads the communication with regional business units and management, and to provide comprehensive advisory support in terms of actuarial matters.

Principal Responsibilities
1. Monitoring and Support of Business Units

• To have a general understanding of the business beyond their functional scope, and to align with the Regional Management Department and other related departments in the execution of projects in order to support and achieve the KPI goals of the business units.  
• Supports the validation, valuation, and review of the reasonability of assumptions and sales plans. 
• Supports the review on adequacy of regional business units’ business plans, reasonableness of financial projections and risk management initiatives. 
• Oversee product profitability, reinsurance, EV, VoNB and IFRS17 implementation for all business units across the region. 
• Manage the actuarial operational matters implemented by the regional business units and ensure that they are in accordance with the overall standard of DL Group. 
• For existing markets, support in the development of the actuarial personnel for each regional business unit. 
• For new markets, to support product development, actuarial topics, and local actuarial talent training and development. 

2. Communication with Business Units and Management

• To communicate between the actuarial targets and initiatives of each business unit in the region with the Global Headquarters. 
• To advise the management on the sound financial management of the business units including product pricing and design, financial and insurance risk and capital adequacy management, liability best estimate assumptions and measurements. 
• Ensure timely reporting to the Management and Head Office on the financial soundness of the business units and to offer recommendations on corrective actions if necessary. 
• Ensure regular and timely reporting to the Management and Head Office of business units top-line and bottom-line information.

3. Performance Management

• Support reporting framework ensuring high quality management information delivery and efficient work processes in close collaboration with other DLAP teams
• Support development and implementation of performance management (KPI) framework for the regional business units as well as DLAP

4. Other ad-hoc matters

• Guidance of project team(s), keeping projects on track, meeting budget goals, and deadlines.  
• Facilitation of conversation with all involved parties and stakeholders. 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and above
• Experience in life insurance actuarial field
• At least 10 years of working experience in life insurance company, with at least 5 years at Manager level or above.
• Experience working in the headquarters or regional office of a life insurance company listed on a major global stock exchange (e.g., Tokyo, New York, NASDAQ, London, Shanghai, Euronext), with direct involvement in actuarial functions such as pricing, valuation, or risk management.

LabSupervisor

Our client isa MNC chemical manufacturer company. They are currently seeking for LabSupervisor.

The role ofthe Lab Supervisor includes:

• Coordinate the day-to-day activities of a team of Laboratory Assistants who check, test, and inspect raw material, goods in process and finished products.
• Prioritize and assign tasks to ensure that team’s resources are used effectively, and that work schedules and targets are met.
• Assists QC Manager in classification of final product and reworked lots.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and investigating quality issues, implement improvement from Analysis gap study.
• Monitor in-process samples, liaison with production teams for preventive & corrective actions.
• Prepare activity and progression reports so recurring problems, either with the quality of the product or the reliability of testing procedures, can be identified and addressed.
• Monitor the performance of staff, equipment and laboratory processes to ensure quality control system effectiveness and efficiency.
• Preparation of quality and budget reports and updates.
• Training of all lab assistants and shift technicians assigned to laboratory work.
• Supervise and coach team members.
• Supports QC department functions onsite and off-site as necessary.

Job Requirement:

·       Ability to supervise and lead a team ofLaboratory Assistants.

·       Good analytical, troubleshooting, andproblem-solving skills.

·       Ability to work independently under pressure ina very fast pace Chemical Manufacturing QC environment and meet tightdeadlines.

·       Strong communication skills, both written andverbal.

·       Cross-functional collaboration

Job Responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Oversee day to day operations of the facility
• Schedule preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting to all activities
• Monitor and control food management on site as to ensure proper storage and unnecessary wastage
• Foster positive communications and relationships with team members, management, vendors and clients
• Provide for site safety and security, devise and implement site policies and standard operating procedures
• Handle emergencies appropriately according to established procedures, prepare and file accident reports
• Supervise and evaluate staff, complete employee reviews; keep accurate records of employee attendance and timesheets; provide positive direction to motivate quality performance, discipline personnel when necessary and appropriate
• Interview candidates; onboard and help in training new hires
• Set goals and oversee work to completion, schedule and track assignments
• Communicate with customers regarding products and services
• LiaIse and work closely with customers
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in KTV/Restaurant Service/Retail or equivalent
• At least a Certificate in Food & Beverage service
• Great communication skills
• Able to commit shift work, weekends and public holidays

Job Responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Assist the management with daily operational matters
• Motivate team members and maintain a high level of team cohesiveness
• Ensure staff adhere to company SOP
• Support the daily operation in collaboration with the managers, assist with monthly forecasting, weekly schedule, restaurant profitability evaluation etc.
• Plan routine cleaning of the outlet
• Routine inventory stock checking
• Maintain Food Hygiene and Safety Standards
• Execution of maintenance schedule for equipment and perform routine inspections
• Able to resolve any service disruptions or customer complaints
• Able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible for the preparation work of outlet opening and closing during operation hours

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 year of relevant experience in KTV/Restaurant Service/Retail or equivalent

Oversee daily operations and outlet reporting

Lead, schedule, and manage the crew

Handle customer service, reservations, and inquiries

Upsell menu items and promote brand experience

Assist with ground crew duties when needed
