About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, the Guest Services Manager is responsible for daily smooth operations within the Rooms Division, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high service standards. The position reports directly to the Front Office Manager.

As Guest Services Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Attend to guest's requests and complaints
• Investigate complaints and address to the department concerned and response to guest with an appropriate explanation and apology
• Ensure LQE and CQE is delivered and a smooth and successful operation is carried out in these areas daily
• Coordinate with Front Office and Guest Services on VIP arrivals, walk-ins, groups and guests with special requests
• Coordinate with Engineering and Housekeeping to ensure that all rooms are ready for sale in the proper condition
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Food and Beverage on any special requests for VIPs
• Coordinate with Security with regards to any criminal act within the hotel or suspicious guests
• Coordinate with Front Office cashiers on vouchers, billing instructions, deposits, rebates etc, to minimize bad debts, skippers, untraceable charges and allowances
• Inspect VIPs arrival rooms with appropriate amenities set up
• Meet and greet VIPs arrivals and departures as highlighted by Director of Rooms or Front Office Manager
• Uphold FLHSS procedures within the division
• Uphold grooming standards
• Ensure effective communication via daily briefing, weekly update and monthly brainstorming within the department
• Attend scheduled meetings
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Superior
• Ensure that standard, policies and procedures are maintained
• Responsible in reporting any cleanliness findings within the hotel and address with the relevant department
• Make every effort to ensure that guests of the hotel are made as comfortable and contented as possible
• Coordinate and take charge of any emergency until General Manager or Hotel Manager arrives
• Recommend improvements in hotel operations where there are opportunities for improving service, increase revenue, etc
• Check the reading file to update on all new e-mails, faxes or correspondence which may require personal attention
• Attend Front Office briefing and Operations meeting and ensure that all instruction given is carry out expeditiously
• Highlight log entries during daily Operations meeting
• Check through the day arrival report and ensures that the necessary preparations are done by respective departments
• Check VIP rooms and their special requests
• Check all public areas and colleague areas for any irregularities and cleanliness
• Check on the working condition of elevators, lobby lights, air conditioning, in-house music and other hotel equipment and report defects where/when necessary
• Check daily event order and ensure that the necessary signboards and arrangements are done
• Ensuring IT equipment at the reception and lobby are functioning well
• Log all complaints/irregularities for Management reference
• Handle all complaints from guests and transmits them to the departments concerned and see that corrective actions are taken immediately
• Constantly check appearance, grooming of uniform colleagues
• To conduct physical room checks for remaining departures beyond 1600 hours
• Ensure Front Office colleagues verify the Housekeeping report and follow up on any discrepancies
• Ensure all lights in the public areas are lit at the appropriate time
• Ensure the sky signs are fully lit at 1900hrs
• Conduct random check on all colleagues to ensure that nobody sleeps while on night duty
• Ensure that all areas are cleaned and checked thoroughly by night cleaners
• To run night audit for HMS and InfoGenesis
• Extend assistance in all areas especially operations
• Attend Rooms Division update weekly
• Conduct departmental training and also makes appropriate suggestions to improve whenever necessary
• Attend to any medical assistance not limited to guest but to colleagues as well
• Take charge during emergency until General Manager and Hotel Manager arrives
• Performs any assignment as delegated by the General Manager, Hotel Manager, Director of Rooms and Front Office Manager

As Guest Services Manager, we expect from you:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience as guest services personnel in luxury hotel or similar capacity is required for this position.
• Preferably familiar with emergency procedures, security protocols and guest service standards.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Non-Marine (Property, Construction, Energy, Engineering and Liability) insurance policies/covers for large and complex commercial risks in Singapore and other Middle East/APAC territories

Role Purpose

NESST’s mandate extends beyond the delivery of its own programmes to shaping the wellbeing of migrant workers and influencing the practices of the wider industry. The Business & Partnership role is the engine of NESST’s growth — building the revenue, business and strategic relationships that sustain and expand its work and extend its reach across the industry.

This is a growth, business development and relationship leadership role. The team sets and drives NESST’s business development strategy, leads from the front to win new business and partners, and holds NESST’s most important external relationships.

Key Responsibilities

1.  Business growth and revenue strategy

•      Own NESST’s business growth strategy and revenue targets, and lead their delivery from the front.

•      Diversify and strengthen NESST’s income base, identifying and opening new markets, channels and commercial opportunities.

•      Translate growth ambitions into clear plans, pipelines and measurable targets for the division.

2.  Sales and business development

•      Build, qualify and convert a healthy pipeline of new business and partnership opportunities.

•      Develop compelling value propositions and pitches; lead negotiations through to close.

•      Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, and grow the value of existing accounts over time.

3.  Relationship building and partnerships

•      Cultivate, win and grow strategic relationships with partners and clients across corporate, non-profit and government sectors.

•      Serve as NESST’s senior relationship-holder for its most significant partners, deepening engagement and renewing support for the long term.

•      Build coalitions that extend NESST’s reach and influence across a wider community of like-minded organisations.

4.  Team leadership and capability

•      Lead, coach and resource the Business Development team, Partnership Lead and supporting staff, and build a high-performing commercial team.

•      Set standards, ways of working and pipeline disciplines; develop capability and succession within a lean team.

5.  Stakeholder engagement and representation

•      Be a confident, credible external and public-facing representative of NESST with partners, clients and industry.

•      Engage the CEO, Board and MOM on growth strategy, opportunities, performance and outcomes.

•      Bring market intelligence and insight to bear on NESST’s positioning and growth priorities.

Requirements

Qualifications and experience

•      A relevant degree, with min 5 years in business development, sales, commercial or partnership roles, including experience in leading a team or function.

•      A strong, demonstrable track record of revenue growth and of winning, negotiating and closing significant deals or partnerships.

•      An established network across relevant sectors, and experience growing income in a mission-driven, public-interest or commercial setting.

Job Responsibities:

• Manage end-to-end project delivery for WSG and Government/SME projects in accordance with contractual obligations and/or tender requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource plans covering kick off meeting deployment, SIT, UAT, and handover to day 2 phases in accordance to requirements
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, opco, contractors, and partners) to meet project milestones and delivery timeline
• Track progress against baseline schedules/ Gantt Chart and proactively manage dependencies and constraints.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans to minimise impact to cost, scope, and schedule.
• Coordinate and manage vendors and contractors to ensure delivery meets quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
• Prepare the run book to ensure smooth transition to Day 2 or maintenance phase
• Provide weekly/ad hoc project status updates, dashboards, and milestone reports for stakeholders
• Manage contractors during installation of services to ensure the installation works are completed well within stipulated timelines and comply with pre-determined technical specifications and ensure contractors compliance with site safety requirements, including PPE, permits, and site access protocols.

SDM

• Oversee end-to-end service delivery for assigned projects, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with contract terms, KPIs, and SLAs.
• Manage project issues, escalations, and root cause analysis in a structured and auditable manner and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
• Control scope changes through formal change requests, impact assessments, and approvals
• Maintain accurate project cadence documentation including meeting minutes, risk logs, issue logs, and change records on weekly/monthly basis
• Prepare documentation for audits, inspections, and governance reviews.
• Ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria prior to take over to support service delivery.
• Recommend improvements to project delivery processes, tools, and templates.
• Monitor service performance and implement corrective actions to address service gaps or operational risks.
• Any Ad-hoc task assigned

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computing Science/Engineering, Information Technology/Business
• PMP certification would be an added advantage
• Minimum 4 years of project management experience
• Good knowledge of cabling infrastructure, internet networks, routers and switches
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and project management skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Description

The Manager, Risk & Compliance is a new role at Hafnia, to be based in Singapore or Copenhagen and part of the Governance, Risk & Compliance pillar within the Executive Projects, Compliance & ESG team. The team works closely with Hafnia's Leadership Group across three pillars to enable strategic execution, safeguard the organization through robust governance and risk oversight, and embed sustainability across the business.

The role reports to the Senior Manager, Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance. During an initial transition period, the role will report directly to the Head of Executive Projects, Compliance & ESG.

This position will play a critical role in operating Hafnia's risk management framework and Corporate Compliance Program, driving compliance efforts and managing enterprise risks. It involves guiding departments and maintaining oversight on compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to sanctions, anti-corruption, anti-trust, anti-money laundering, GDPR, and business ethics. A key focus is building a strong culture of integrity and adherence to regulatory and risk standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Risk management framework

• Operationalize and continuously improve Hafnia's enterprise risk management framework
• Conduct risk assessments and risk reviews with business owners across functions
• Maintain Hafnia's risk register and relevant documentation
• Work with business owners to develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans

Regulatory compliance and governance for corporate office

• Develop, implement and regularly review our compliance policies
• Keep up to date on regulatory developments to ensure the business remains complaint
• Assess effectiveness of the Compliance Program and adapt it to regulatory developments and emerging risks
• Coordinate regularly with the legal team and HSEQ department on compliance matters
• Represent Hafnia and develop its engagement within the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN) and other industry forums.
• Provide continuous recommendations for the development of the compliance program
• Perform counterparty sanctions screening and assist with KYC process
• Manage the network of compliance systems and guide business users

Forward Freight Agreement (FFA) governance

• Oversee the governance and compliance framework for Hafnia's FFA activities
• Maintain FFA-related controls, policies and documentation
• Coordinate with Commercial and Finance teams to ensure consistent FFA compliance and reporting

Corporate ethics and integrity

• Champion a culture of compliance and ethical decision-making across the organization
• Monitor adherence to our policies and procedures
• Develop compliance training programs and conduct mandatory training and awareness sessions, partnering with the Executive Projects team on rollout and change management
• Manage our whistleblower program and protection mechanisms
• Advise on internal investigations and corrective actions in case of violations

Reporting and auditor coordination

• Manage internal and external audit inquiries relating to Enterprise Risk Management and compliance activities
• Maintain documentation related to compliance and enterprise risk management
• Ensure timely reporting and resolution to inquiries or audits
• Report top risks to leadership and the Audit Committee on a regular cycle

Cross-functional collaboration

• Work with the Executive Projects team on policy implementation and change management initiatives
• Coordinate with the ESG team on governance frameworks, ESG risk integration and assurance alignment
• Work across Legal, HSEQ, Internal Audit and Commercial functions on shared risk and compliance topics

Crisis management and incident response

• Develop and implement crisis response strategies for compliance and risk-related incidents

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience working in shipping, compliance and/or risk management, preferably within an in-house team and in a global context. Legal experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements and industry/maritime best practices
• Clear grasp and understanding of key global anti-bribery, anti-trust, GDPR and trade sanctions frameworks
• Experience with enterprise risk management frameworks and methodologies
