Ensuring Compliance with the PDPA

To ensure that the organisation meets specific PDPA requirements. This includes overseeing the processes and systems in place to secure personal data and assessing potential risks in data management.

Identifying and Escalating Potential Risks to Management

Responsible for identifying potential data protection risks within the organisation and escalating these risks to management. This ensures that leadership is aware of vulnerabilities and can take appropriate action to mitigate them.

Increasing Stakeholder Awareness

To educate employees on data privacy and PDPA requirements and organise training sessions that help staff understand the importance of data protection and the practices they must adopt to ensure compliance.

Raise awareness among external stakeholders, such as contractors and business partners, about the organisation’s data protection obligations and policies.

Handling Data Inquiries and Complaints

When it comes to data-related enquiries from individuals within and outside the organisation, a DPO serves as the very first point of contact. They address concerns, investigate complaints and work to resolve issues related to data handling practices.

Developing and Implementing Data Protection Policies

Establishes specific data protection policies and has them tailored to the unique data handling practices of the company. These policies guide employees in handling data responsibly to create a structured approach to data privacy.

Liaising with the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC)

Acting as the primary liaison with the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC),a DPO should actively facilitate communication regarding any data protection issues, audits, or incidents. This connection allows the organisation to remain informed on regulatory changes and enforcement actions.

Ad-hoc duties assigned by immediate superior.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma holder in any discipline.
• Proficient in data protection and compliance. Able to educate, train and facilitate PDPA related work.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, to collaborate and engage with various levels of stakeholders.
• Keen and motivated to continuously learn and improve, proactive and thrive when facing challenges.
• Diligent in completing tasks and processes from start to end, adhere well to timelines independently and as a team.
• Resourceful, analytical and keen in problem-solving.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in data architecture, data modelling, or data management, banking or financial services industry.
• Basic knowledge of data governance (i.e. DAMA-DMBOK).
• Deep expertise in logical and physical data modelling for core banking, risk, compliance, and financial reporting domains and various analytics use cases.
• Proficient in data modelling tools (e.g., Erwin, PowerDesigner, or similar).
• Advanced SQL skills and strong ability to work with large, complex financial datasets.
• Solid understanding of relational and dimensional modelling, data warehousing, and data integration techniques.
• Intermediate understanding of regulatory compliance in the APAC region.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills to engage with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience with the American data management system “Collibra” is a plus.
• Experience in Alteryx System is highly preferred.

As a Data Center AutoCAD Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data center infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. You will work closely with our engineering teams to help out our growing infrastructure needs and show your work through your command of your AutoCAD design experience.

Responsibilities:

● Design and create layouts of data center infrastructure including facilities structure, cabinets, overhead ladders and raceways, structured cabling, aisles (hot & cold), cabinets, mechanical, electrical, servers, storage, and networking equipment.

● Perform capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure the scalability and efficiency of our data center environment.

● Monitor and optimize the performance of data center infrastructure components to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and business requirements.

● Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, collaborating with cross- functional teams as needed.

● Implement and maintain security measures to protect data center assets and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

● Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and migrations with minimal impact on ongoing operations.

● Document configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity.

● Stay abreast of the latest developments in data center technologies and best practices, recommending and implementing improvements as necessary.

● Utilize AutoCAD design experience to create detailed technical drawings and models for data center layouts and infrastructure components.

Requirements:

● Strong knowledge of data center architecture along with the minimum design requirements for a network, compute, and storage racks as well as layers 2/3 and virtualization platforms

● Proven experience in a colocation, inside plant, or telecommunications facilities engineer or similar role in a large-scale data center or telecom environment.

● Solid understanding of physical design standards and IT security best practices in data centers and colocation facilities.

● Strong understanding of public cloud infrastructure as well as cloud-native applications, preferably with demonstrable experience in helping scale the overall global footprint of a geographically diverse production network

● Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

● Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, VCP, Autodesk Certified Professional) would be a plus.

● Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for designing data center layouts and infrastructure components.

We are representing a subcontractor to hire for a Senior Project Engineer (Electrical) with experience in Data Center projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee electrical engineering works for data centre construction projects
• Coordinate closely with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical submissions
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems (e.g., LV/MV distribution, UPS, generators)
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications
• Track project progress, resolve site issues, and support schedule and cost control
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and site teams

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline
• Minimum 2-6 years of experience in data centre / mission-critical projects, with a strong electrical focus
• Experience working for subcontractors or on-site project execution roles preferred
• Solid understanding of electrical systems installation and coordination within construction environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skill
