JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the General/Operations Manager, the incumbent will support vessel turnaround by handling port formalities, bunkering, cargo, cruise, and husbandry operations, including technical calls. While applicants should have experience on most of the responsibilities below, ample training and coaching will be provided to the right candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Mainly but not limited to:

• Plan, coordinate and execute all aspects of port calls, including for cargo and cruise vessels, to ensure safe, efficient and timely turnaround.
• Plan, perform and coordinate port agency work for both cruise and cargo vessels, including berth and terminal arrangements, liaison with all relevant authorities and terminals, and completion of Immigration, Customs and other port formalities related to the vessel’s port stay.
• Coordinate and handle all operational and husbandry matters for vessels’ port calls, including but not limited to bunkering, cargo and cruise operations, crew changes, stores, provisions, spares, medical assistance and related services.
• Handle vessels’ technical calls, including drydocking, ship repairs and related operational arrangements.
• Carry out accurate and timely electronic data entry and updates at all stages of the port call and maintain proper records in the relevant systems.
• Supervise, and where necessary actively handle, port calls in other countries (e.g. Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, etc.) by acting as Hub Agent and coordinating with local partners.

14. Perform exit procedure for cessation of employment e.g. Exit Interview, Tax Clearance.

15. Assist in expatriates employment, relocation and tax matters.

16. Training and development management.

Job Requirements:

Min.3 years’ experience

Bayfront Law LLC is seeking a meticulous and organised Administrative Executive to support our client onboarding and Know-Your-Client (KYC) compliance team. Key responsibilities will include conducting client due diligence and KYC checks, reviewing identification documents, corporate records and ownership information and liaising with clients to obtain the necessary information, assisting with preparation of onboarding materials (such as letters of engagement), monitoring and following up on ongoing KYC requirements, and supporting ongoing compliance and administrative functions as required. You will gain good exposure to compliance requirements in a supportive working environment.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Diploma, degree or equivalent qualification

• Strong attention to detail

• Responsible 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and open to learning new applications

• Good organisational and communication skills

• Teamplayer
