Purpose of the Post

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Assistant Director, Talent Management plays a pivotal role in shaping Montfort Care's talent agenda to enable organizational growth and transformation. We are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our team and play a key role in owning and delivering accurate, compliant, and timely execution of assigned finance operations modules. The role will also involve partnering with stakeholders to ensure strong financial control, reporting integrity, and operational efficiency.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1.     End-to-End Ownership
Take full accountability for assigned finance modules and cost centres, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all transactions and reporting outputs.

2.     Core Finance Operations
Manage and execute activities across relevant finance functions, including but not limited to Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), review and validate AP payment cycle, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets (FA), General Ledger (GL), GST, and financial reporting. To ensure all transactional entries are accurate and properly recorded within the ERP system.

3.     Financial Close Management
Lead and deliver month-end and year-end close processes for all modules, ensuring deadlines are met with high data integrity and alignment with internal and external stakeholders.

4.     Reporting & Reconciliation
-Check validity of all transactions on monthly and annual management reports, audit schedules, and reconciliations (e.g., General Ledger, Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Governmental Surveys).

5.     GST Compliance
