Job Description

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and monitoring project activities to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer will lead and coordinate project activities to ensure timely delivery and compliance with technical requirements for rail E&M systems in Singapore’s transit environment. Responsibilities:

·• Assist Principal Project Manager (PRPM)/ Senior Project Manager (SPM)/ Project Manager (PM) in day-to-day management of the contract

• Advise the PRPM/SPM/PM on site quality and safety issues.

• Determine any non-conformances on works

•Liaise with Contractor to rectify any non-conformances and document them properly

• Ensure that decisions on site issues are conveyed to the Contractor within a reasonable time frame.

• Ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme without compromising on quality and safety

• Provide feedback to the PRPM/SPM/PM on quality and safety matters and suggest quality improvement measures for implementation on site

• Supervise installation of instrumentation and monitoring of instrumentation

• Lead a team of supervisors to ensure full time supervision of works on site by supervisor /client

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering
