Our client is a MNC in Machinery Manufacturing.  Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Finance & Treasury Specialist to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

Treasury & Cash Management

• Monitor daily cash positions, bank balances, and transactions
• Prepare bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasts
• Support loan drawdowns, documentation, and intercompany fund transfers via SAP
• Maintain accurate records of bank accounts and authorized signatories
• Compile and submit monthly cash flow reports

Accounting & Administrative Support

• Perform accurate and timely SAP data entry (invoices, receipts, loan and hedging details)
• Assist in expense claim processing and proper documentation filing
• Compile financial data for internal reporting purposes
• Support preparation of documents for internal and external audits

Reporting & Coordination

• Assist in preparing treasury reports and summaries for management review
• Coordinate with regional counterparts on intercompany funding and reporting matters
• Ensure compliance with internal finance and treasury policies

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• Experience in finance/accounting support preferred
• SAP or ERP system knowledge is an advantage

Who We Are Looking For & What Role You Will Play

This position’s primary responsibility is to assist in financial closing matters to management including monthly,

year-end and any other ad-hoc reporting as required.

This position’s primary responsibilities include:

• Perform monthly financial closing and prepare timely and accurate management reports

• Analyse monthly financial results, investigate variances and provide clear commentaries

• Prepare intercompany and related party reconciliations for group consolidation and reporting

• Perform balance sheet account analysis and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items

• Manage inventory-related accounting matters, including cut-off procedures, obsolescence review and annual stock take

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger in compliance with SFRS and internal controls

• Prepare GST returns and supporting schedules in accordance with IRAS requirements

• Support tax computations, schedules and filings, including liaison with tax agents

• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with SFRS

• Support statutory and management reporting requirements and respond to audit queries

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting quality and efficiency

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

What Knowledge & Experience We Require from You

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualification

• At least 4 years of relevant working experience in the related field is required for this position

• Familiar with SFRS

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Microsoft Excel

• Familiar with ACCPAC and SAP would be an advantage

• Strong work ethics including attention to detail, analytical skill, meticulous and resourceful with positive work attitude

• Effective team player and able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.

• A proactive person with the ability to work independently to meet tight deadlines
