Job Description:

· Sales Generation: Contribute to the team revenue in all aspects of the sales process, including lead generation, customer inquiries, order processing, and post-sales support.

· Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers by providing prompt and accurate information, addressing queries and concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Education & Skills Requirements:

· Diploma or Certifications in Marine / Engineering or relevant fields.

· Candidate with experience in the marine or similar industry is preferred.

· Industry Technical Knowledge: Understanding of the marine or similar industry, including knowledge of similar products, services, market trends, and customer needs.

Role Overview
We are hiring a Sales Executive/Account Manager to drive Netpluz’s direct managed services revenue in Singapore. This role is designed as an 80% hunting and 20% farming position.

The primary focus (80%) is net-new customer acquisition. The secondary focus (20%) is to grow and expand a limited set of assigned direct customers through cross-sell and upsell of additional managed services.

This role sells the full Netpluz managed services portfolio, using cybersecurity services (VAPT and MSOC) as key entry offerings, while expanding customers into connectivity, cloud, infrastructure, and other managed services.

This role does NOT manage partner-owned accounts and must operate with strict respect for channel deal registration and account ownership.

Key Responsibilities
Hunting (80%)
• Prospect, identify, and acquire new direct customers for Netpluz managed services
• Own the full new-business sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposal, negotiation, and close
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of net-new opportunities
• Target mid-market, enterprise, and regulated customers
• Lead with cybersecurity offerings (VAPT, MSOC) to open doors

Farming (20%)
• Manage and grow a small portfolio of Netpluz-owned direct customers
• Upsell and cross-sell additional managed services (MSOC, connectivity, cloud, infrastructure)
• Build long-term customer relationships and increase account value
• Identify expansion opportunities and renewals

General Responsibilities
• Engage C-level, IT, security, and infrastructure stakeholders
• Position managed services as long-term, recurring solutions
• Work with pre-sales and delivery teams to scope and onboard services
• Coordinate with Channel Sales to avoid account conflict and support co-sell motions when appropriate
• Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reporting, and forecasts

Requirements
• 2–3 years experience in B2B technology or managed services sales
• Proven record in new-business hunting with some account management experience
• Experience selling managed services or subscription-based offerings
• Comfortable with outbound prospecting and cold engagement
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have
• Experience selling cybersecurity, MSP, MSSP, cloud, or connectivity services
• Familiarity with Singapore enterprise or regulated industries
• Existing network of IT, security, or infrastructure decision makers

This is a commercial leadership role, with responsibility for driving new business development across large industrial and project-based accounts. This role is focused on hunting for new clients, developing new business opportunities, expanding relationships with key accounts while also leading and coaching a small sales team.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business development and client acquisition across large industrial, infrastructure, energy, utilities, manufacturing, and project-based accounts.
• Sell the company’s product portfolio, including motors, drives, generators, transformers, switchgear, and other electrical solutions.
• Identify and pursue large-scale project opportunities with major accounts.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, from prospecting and qualification through to proposal, negotiation, closing while strengthening relationships with key decision-makers.
• Lead and mentor a sales team, uplifting team's hunting capability, account penetration, and proactive business development mindset.
• Set sales targets, monitor team performance, and provide guidance on sales strategy, pipeline management, and customer engagement.
• Work closely with internal technical, engineering, operations, and management teams to support solution proposals and project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proven sales experience in electrical, industrial, power, energy, engineering, or project-based solutions.
• Strong knowledge of electrical products and solutions, ideally including generators, transformers, switchgear, power systems, or related electrical infrastructure.
• Experience selling to large accounts, such as industrial plants, petrochemical companies, energy players, utilities, infrastructure projects, EPCs, contractors, or major end users.
• Strong hunting experience with a proven track record of opening new clients and securing new project opportunities.
• Experience leading a sales team, including coaching, performance management, and capability development.
• Able to shift a team from a farming-focused sales approach towards a more proactive hunting and business development mindset.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, both written and verbal.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to manage senior client relationships.
• Comfortable handling complex, long-cycle, project-based sales.
• Good communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
