We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Freight Forwarding Sales Executive to develop new business opportunities and manage customer relationships within the air and sea freight forwarding industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, promoting logistics solutions, preparing quotations, and achieving sales targets while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Job Descriptions:

Business Development & Sales

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
• Conduct sales visits, cold calling, networking, and customer engagement activities to generate leads and secure new accounts.
• Promote the company's air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and value-added logistics services.

Quotation & Pricing Management

• Prepare competitive quotations and proposals based on customer requirements.

• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with customers to maximize profitability while remaining competitive.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and freight rate fluctuations.

Sales Coordination & Account Management

• Coordinate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
• Follow up on quotations, bookings, and shipment status to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities within the company's CRM or freight management system.
• Support contract renewals, rate reviews, and customer retention initiatives.

Reporting & Administrative Duties

• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management weekly review.
• Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Participate in trade exhibitions, networking events, and marketing initiatives when required.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Nitec/Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Experience with SysFreight, CargoWise, or other freight management systems is an added advantage.
• Prior experience in freight forwarding sales, logistics sales, or account management is preferred. Fresh graduates with strong communication and interpersonal skills are welcome to apply.
