A Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) is responsible for managing product quality from the customer’s perspective, acting as the primary technical interface between the customer and internal teams to ensure customer quality requirements are met, issues are resolved quickly, and long-term quality improvements are implemented.

The CQE focuses on customer complaints, quality incidents, audits, and continuous improvement, translating customer expectations into actionable internal quality and engineering activities.

1. Customer Quality Interface

• Serve as the main point of contact for customer quality issues

Purpose of the post

This role provides QA support across document control, batch record management, training records, supplier documentation, audits, and quality system activities. Responsibilities include maintaining quality registers, tracking due dates and CAPA actions, supporting Bizzmine eQMS document control, checking Batch Manufacturing Records for completeness, and assisting with QA reporting and trending. Also supports GMP training, supplier qualification records, inspection readiness, and maintenance of key controlled documents.
