Job Title: Project Director (Façade / Curtain Wall & Steel Structure Projects)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead and oversee large-scale façade, curtain wall, and steel/aluminium structure projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall project delivery, including planning, execution, resource management, stakeholder coordination, cost control, quality assurance, and safety compliance. This role requires strong technical expertise in façade engineering, proven leadership capabilities, and an established network of local industry resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage multiple façade, curtain wall, and steel/aluminium structure projects from pre-construction through project completion.
• Develop project strategies, execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate closely with clients, architects, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to achieve project objectives.
• Oversee project teams to ensure works are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.
• Review engineering designs, technical submissions, shop drawings, and structural calculations to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures to minimize delays, cost overruns, and operational issues.
• Monitor project performance, manage contractual matters, and provide regular progress updates to management and stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, subcontractors, labour providers, and fabrication partners to support project execution.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore building regulations, workplace safety requirements, and industry best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, construction methodologies, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Project Director, Senior Project Manager, or equivalent leadership role within the façade, curtain wall, steel structure, or building construction industry.
• Proven track record in delivering complex and large-scale curtain wall projects, including participation in at least two landmark or iconic building projects.
• Strong technical background in façade engineering with the ability to review structural calculations and engineering designs.
• In-depth knowledge of Singapore construction practices, building regulations, project management procedures, and safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with local stakeholders, regional teams, suppliers, and project partners.
Preferred Qualifications
• Possession of WSQ certification and/or Specialist Diploma in Construction Management or other relevant qualifications recognised by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
• Established network of local subcontractors, labour resources, supply chain partners, and fabrication facilities within Singapore and the region.
• Experience managing cross-functional and multinational project teams.
• Familiarity with contract administration, project costing, procurement, and risk management.
