ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and accomplished Technical Director to join the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) — at a pivotal moment for Singapore para sport. With ambitious Los Angeles 2028 and Brisbane 2032 Paralympic Games targets on the horizon, this role offers a rare opportunity to shape the Para Swimming elite programme from the ground up and deliver results on both a home stage and the world stage.

The Technical Director serves as the senior technical authority and Lead Coach Developer for Para Swimming. You will lead the design and oversight of a world-class high performance programme, drive the integration of evidence-based coaching and sport science, and build Singapore’s Para Swimming coaching capability from development level through to elite. You will also contribute to athlete pathway and talent pipeline activities, working closely with the High Performance Manager across the full performance continuum.

A key outcome of this role is to grow the number of high-performance para swimmers capable of succeeding for Singapore — both by developing the existing squad to its highest potential and by building a well-structured pipeline of athletes from community participation through to national squad.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Programme Leadership

• Lead and implement a world-class individualised high performance programme, grounded in innovative, evidence-based coaching, sport science, and sport medicine practices.
• Develop and maintain quadrennial and annual Performance and Pathway Plans, including detailed plans for identified athletes and clear benchmarks aligned to major Games cycles.

• Support athlete classification processes: advise the High Performance Manager on classification status and liaise with international classifiers to ensure athletes are competition-ready.
• Play an active role in talent identification and transfer for Para Swimming: apply classification knowledge and sport-specific technical expertise to assess individuals with para sport potential, advise on sport class suitability and impairment-to-sport matching, and work with the High Performance Manager and SDSC’s Talent Identification function to build and sustain a strong athlete pipeline.
• Lead the implementation of the Long-Term Para Athlete Development (LTPAD) model, establishing development benchmarks, defining athlete transition criteria, and ensuring the talent pipeline is well-structured and regularly reviewed.

Coach Development (Lead Coach Developer)

• Design and implement a structured coaching development framework for Para Swimming, from community level through to elite.
• Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and performance feedback to Head Coaches and programme coaches, elevating coaching standards and building sustainable coaching capability within Singapore.
• Organise and lead workshops, on-deck/trackside/court-side training sessions, seminars, and certification opportunities covering Para Swimming-specific techniques, classification, sport science application, and evidence-based programme design.
• Lead the sharing of knowledge, experience, and expertise across all coaches and practitioners within the national programme.
• Develop a transparent coaching pathway that supports talent identification, coach retention, and long-term programme sustainability.

Competition and Major Games

• Provide technical leadership and coaching presence at major international competitions and training camps, including ASEAN Para Games, Asian Para Games, Paralympic Games, and relevant World Championships and World Para Swimming World Series events.
• Contribute to competition strategy, event selection, and team delegation composition for major championships.
• Advise on sport-specific equipment preparation and requirements for competition.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with World Para Swimming and other relevant bodies, staying current on technical developments, rule changes, classification updates, and best practice.
• Represent SDSC at technical forums, international federation meetings, and coaching conferences.
• Work with the High Performance Manager and Pathway and Performance Director to contribute to programme reports, strategic plans, and budget proposals.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Experience

• An internationally recognised coaching qualification or demonstrated and successful track record of coaching para athletes, across multiple classifications, at the highest level to medal success at Paralympic Games and/or World Para Swimming Championships.
• Additional qualifications or expertise in sport science or performance analysis are advantageous.
• Minimum 8 years of high performance coaching or technical leadership experience in aquatics, including significant experience at the international para swimming level.
• Deep working knowledge of World Para Swimming classification systems across all sport classes, technical rules, competition formats, and international competition calendars including the World Series.
• Proven ability to design and deliver integrated, evidence-based performance programmes that incorporate sport science, sport medicine, and holistic athlete development.
• Demonstrated experience and cultural competence in engaging and developing coaches at the high performance level.

Job Summary

The Director of Finance is responsible for safeguarding the financial integrity, stability and performance of COMO Hotels and Resorts. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, drives financial planning and analysis, strengthens internal controls, oversees treasury and cash flow management, and partners with hotel operations to improve profitability and business performance.

What You'll Bring

2. That experience must cover one or more of the underlying asset classes listed above (CIS/ETFs, securities, exchange-traded derivatives, OTC derivatives, spot FX, structured deposits). Broader coverage across these asset classes is preferred.

3. The candidate's previous employer for the relevant experience would preferably be a licensed or regulated financial institution under MAS or an equivalent regulator in another jurisdiction. Job Posting Description:

•    Lead and develop Advisory, Feasibility / Concept and Pre - FEED projects within the Power sector across Southeast Asia and Australia
•    Build and grow a sustainable portfolio of Power sector projects, targeting break-even within 2 years
•    Provide strategic leadership across early phase project development including Advisory through to Pre - FEED
•    Establish and maintain strong client relationships with power developers, utilities, and providers across the APAC region
•    Drive business development activities and identify new opportunities within the Power market

Job Requirements:
•    Extensive experience in Power sector projects, including power plants and power provider clients across APAC and Asia

•    Demonstrated experience in building and managing project portfolios and driving growth

Work you will do

This role sits within the Artificial Intelligence & Data team of Deloitte Southeast Asia, a group that leverages modern AI, machine learning, and data technologies to solve complex business challenges. As a leader in this space, you will drive the strategy, development, and delivery of AI-powered solutions across industries, focusing on Generative AI, agent-based AI, large language models (LLMs), and advanced data ecosystems.

You will be instrumental in guiding clients through their AI transformation journeys—from data readiness and governance to model deployment and enterprise-scale adoption—by building secure, scalable, and ethical AI solutions using the latest platforms from OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, and other emerging leaders in the AI ecosystem.

As a Leader, you will:

Lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering AI transformation programs that embed advanced technologies, including LLMs, AI agents, and decision intelligence—into core business operations.

Design and scale intelligent systems using GenAI models (e.g. GPT, Claude, Gemini) for enterprise applications such as knowledge management, synthetic data generation, autonomous agents, and customer experience automation.

• Partner closely with clients to assess data and AI maturity, define responsible AI strategies, and design AI operating models aligned with business goals and regulatory standards.
• Ensure data and model governance, security, lineage, and ethical use of AI are embedded in all implementations, supporting compliance with evolving global standards.
• Develop thought leadership, lead proposal development, and identify market opportunities to expand Deloitte’s presence in the AI and data space across Southeast Asia.
• Mentor and grow a high-performing AI & Data team, fostering innovation and capability development in emerging AI technologies.

You must have strong implementation experience in one or more of the following areas:

1. AI and GenAI Platforms: Hands-on experience designing, deploying, or fine-tuning models on platforms such as OpenAI (Azure OpenAI Service), Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, or Hugging Face. Familiarity with orchestration tools like LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or crewAI is highly valued.
2. Data Engineering & Real-time Data Pipelines: Building robust data architectures to support AI and analytics at scale using tools like Databricks, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, or Delta Lake. Integration experience with streaming data platforms (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub) is a plus.
3. Modern BI & Decision Intelligence: Developing real-time, interactive dashboards and executive decision platforms using tools such as Power BI, Looker, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or Amazon QuickSight—often in combination with embedded AI insights.
4. AI Model Ops and Lifecycle Management: Experience with full model lifecycle—training, monitoring, retraining, and scaling—using MLOps platforms such as MLflow, Azure ML, Vertex AI Pipelines, or AWS SageMaker Pipelines.
5. Data Readiness & Governance for AI: Deep expertise in data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA, DCAM), metadata management, master data management (MDM), and data privacy/security best practices that ensure high-quality, trustworthy data for AI use.
6. Responsible & Ethical AI: Knowledge of implementing responsible AI frameworks including bias mitigation, explainability, fairness, auditability, and alignment with governance standards such as ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, and emerging regional regulations.

Requirements

• A good honors Degree, preferably at postgraduate level, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related disciplines.
• Extensive experience in Big 4 or MNC Consulting firm or industry related role.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the consulting industry with solid experience in the sales cycle and in leading project teams
• Strong experience directly interfacing with senior business and IT stakeholders for clients.
• Strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
• Ability to work independently, to work in a fast paced and demanding environment
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
• You have strong understanding of either structured and unstructured data mining, visualisation and analytics or Intelligent Automation
• Drive, tenacity, entrepreneurship, client focused and results oriented. You enjoy working methodically and with a great attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.
