Under the general guidelines of the Executive Assistant Manager, the Senior Sales Manager / Assistant Director solicits and services transient and group business that enables Mondrian Singapore Duxton to meet and/or exceed set revenue goals.

The Sales department is responsible for selling the hotel and providing a relationship-oriented atmosphere for the client, who would book business into the hotel.  The Assistant Sales Manager/Sales Manager/Senior Sales Manager will have a defined sales territory, market segment(s), accountlist and/or may partner in a job-sharing setting.  Their primary function is to book business from their prospecting and solicitation efforts and respond to inquiries.  Based on assigned territory and market segment, it’s expected that a significant portion of time be devoted to new business development.

How your day looks like:

• Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication
• Meet or exceed personal sales solicitant on call goals based on a minimum of 5 daily appointments covering existing and prospective accounts
• Update and maintenance of sales records in ANAIS
• Responsible for administration of all support services including but not limited to responding to emails and correspondence, input and maintenance of databases
• Maintainsa high profile within trade and professional associates dealing with their market area/segment(s)
• Interacts with individuals outside the hotel within their sales area including, but not limited to clients, local hotel associations and other members of the local community
• Solicit corporate, consortia and leisure accounts directly and jointly with others through the preparation, execution and completion of Action Plans
• Implements all Sales Action Plans related to their sales area as outlined in the Revenue/Business Plan to achieve sales targets
• Within established parameters, quote and negotiate prices with customer representatives confirming reservations by letter and drawing up contracts; sign for the hotel and obtain customer signature to close the transaction
• Upon contracting accounts, this position will be responsible for ongoing account management with contracted accounts and setting of production targets on a quarterly basis
• Achieve established room night and revenue goals as outlined in the agreed upon incentive and annual business plan
• When appropriate, and with agreement with the Executive Assistant Manager, attend major travel functions (trade shows, associations) that deal specifically with their marketing responsibility
• As directed, compile and input market intelligence information to the Sales Information Management system
• Develop and maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers
• Provides feedback at RevMax on changing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct solicitation, telephone and direct mail, in their market areas. 
• Meets deadlines for assigned tasks
• Establishes and maintain files on major active accounts within their marketing area/segment(s)
• Establishes and maintains effective employee relations
• Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
• Maintains punctuality and good timekeeping and appearance
• Trains and develops sales executives and sales coordinator in designated sales areas
• Undertake and complete any special projects, tasks or other reasonable request by your department head and/or Hotel Management
• Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance
• Participate in RevMax meeting, pre-conference meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required
• Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers
• Attend local trade shows, community events and industry meetings
• To handle sales enquiries and sales quotation to customers
• To track closely review / cut-off dates especially to big groups
• To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Description

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Transfer Pricing (TP) professional to play a pivotal role in the growth and direction of the TP team in the Firm. A key member of the management team, your role is essential to enhancing client experience, strategizing business development plans to grow our clients’ base exponentially as well as accelerating the team’s success.

Responsibilities

· Provide professional and accurate advice to clients on Singapore and International Tax affairs by helping them understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of transactions

· Advise and assist clients to comply with transfer pricing rules and plan comprehensive tax and transfer pricing strategies through the use of Organisation for Economic Cooperation (OECD) Guidelines and Singapore Transfer Pricing Guidelines' methodologies.

· Advise planning opportunities to our clients based on the OECD and Singapore TP Guidelines.

· Undertake functional analysis interviews, benchmarking studies and analysing the clients' issues to prepare transfer pricing documentation

· Project manage regional and/or global transfer pricing projects.

· Assist with transfer pricing aspects of tax authority queries or formal audits.

· Coordinate with the HLB global network firms on client issues.

· Assess and identify business development opportunities.

Requirements

· Degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Tax, Accounting or other relevant disciplines with 8-10 years of TP experience preferably in the Asia-Pacific and/or Europe Region and from a professional services firm.

· Highly motivated, self-driven and ambitious with track record of project management skills especially in regional and/or global transfer pricing projects

· Proven leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills with excellent negotiation and communication skills (spoken and written)

· Highly efficient as an individual contributor with strong delivery management and timely execution of deliverables and simultaneously, be a team player when needed.

· Experienced and familiar with OECD and Singapore TP guidelines

· Having an SCTP accreditation would be an added advantage.
