Job Summary:

Maintain sterile surgical instruments and equipment by supporting end-to-end sterile processing to ensure safe and efficient clinical operations.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, decontaminate, inspect, package, sterilise, store and distribute surgical instruments and supplies
• Operate washer-disinfectors, dryers, ultrasonic washers and sterilisation equipment
• Perform and monitor sterilisation test indicators to ensure compliance
• Manage inventory of sterile linen and surgical consumables
• Issue sterile supplies to operating theatres and clinical areas
• Maintain cleanliness of storage and decontamination areas
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment; report faults and arrange repair/replacement
• Identify instruments requiring repair or replacement and notify the relevant person-in-charge
• Support smooth daily operations within the sterile services unit
• Communicate and hand over critical information to team members
• Participate in quality improvement and service-related activities
• Stay updated on current healthcare practices

Requirements:

• ITE qualification in Engineering, relevant technical certification, or WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Sterilisation Services)
• Experience in CSSD/TSSU or as an Instrument Technical Assistant is an added advantage
• Good interpersonal and supervisory skills
• Proficiency in written English for documentation in English and liaising with English-speaking stakeholders
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

The Technician Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the technical team, ensuring that all maintenance, installation, and repair work is completed efficiently and in accordance with company standards. This role involves supervising technicians, coordinating schedules, managing technical projects, and ensuring safety and quality compliance.

The Technician Manager will also provide technical guidance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure that equipment and systems operate reliably. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and team members effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise, train, and manage a team of technicians.
-Plan and coordinate daily technical operations, maintenance, and repair tasks.
-Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and company policies.
-Monitor equipment performance and resolve complex technical issues.
-Develop preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
-Assign tasks and schedules to technicians based on workload and priority.
-Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and documentation.
-Ensure technicians follow proper procedures and quality standards.
-Coordinate with other departments and management to meet operational goals.
-Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
-Evaluate technician performance and provide coaching and support.

Requirements
-Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technical Management, or a related field.
-Proven experience in technical maintenance, repair, or service operations.
-Previous supervisory or team management experience is preferred.
-Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
-Good leadership and communication abilities.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
-Knowledge of safety standards and operational procedures.
-Proficiency in basic computer applications and reporting systems.

Preferred Skills:

-Strong organizational and planning skills.
-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
-Experience in managing technical teams in industrial, manufacturing, or service environments

• Perform hardware repairs including screen, battery, and port replacements on mobile devices to restore functionality
• Troubleshoot software problems to resolve device issues effectively
• Use diagnostic tools to accurately identify faults in mobile devices for precise repair actions
• Communicate repair options, timelines, and solutions clearly and professionally to customers to ensure satisfaction
• Conduct preventive maintenance and quality checks to maintain device performance and reliability
• Track and order replacement parts to ensure availability for repairs without delay
• Record detailed repair information, customer interactions, and transactions to maintain accurate service records
• Stay updated on new mobile technologies and repair techniques to apply current best practices
• Adapt to work independently and efficiently in fast-paced repair environments
• Apply knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android) to support software troubleshooting and repairs

Veterinary Technician Manager

We have 2 branches (Holland Grove Road & Jalan Besar), and we are looking for a Manager for each branch to join our existing team. Specifically, you will need to run and manage the support staff of the branch you are posted to. This will include scheduling, mentoring/training, team discipline & welfare, as well as being a role model for junior veterinary technicians, nurses and assistants. Relevant educational qualifications are required with strong experiences in all roles required of a Veterinary Technician.
