REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Is degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, IT, or a relevant field
• Proven experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or similar role within fintech, financial services, or
  technology-driven companies
• Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product lifecycle and working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products
• Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, product management principles, and software development lifecycle LSDLCM

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for participating in infrastructure design, systems analysis, network security, data center operations, and network and voice communication, in conjunction with the actual scenarios of the Singapore site.
• Provide 3rd level support for incidents and problems in infrastructure area.
• Act as infrastructure solution owner in the plan, design, and delivery of IT projects/solutions.
• Act as infrastructure expert to work with Corp. IT in technical discussion.
• Initialize and lead IT infrastructure optimization projects.
• Initialize and own all infrastructure architecture documents and keep them updated.
• Act as a liaison between IT and other departments to ensure that technology solutions deliver high value to the organization’sprojects and initiatives.
• Understand local information security standards, requirements, and best practices in Singapore.
• Understand local laws and regulations in Singapore to ensure the security of data transfer across borders.
• Understand the application system lifecycle, development, implementation methods, and best practices for local operational support systems.
• Familiar with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GAMP 5.
• Familiar with GMP application systems and laboratory system support (WMS/MES/DCS, etc.).
• Manage and supervise vender performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience on infrastructure technical position to be responsible for infrastructure architecture design, daily operation troubleshooting, infrastructure project implementation.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in application system development/implementation, familiar with local application system solutions in Singapore
• Technical background/understanding in areas of WAN, LAN, Firewall, Microsoft Platform, Physical & Virtual server (VMware maintenance) etc.
• Ability to work across diverse organizations and lead complex internal and external project teams.
• Knowledge of IT Operations at a Manufacturing site. Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing support is a plus.
• Able to communicate fluently in English and Mandarin to liaise with internal and external stakeholders from China and other countries.

About the role

We are looking for a self-driven & commercially minded Senior/Assistant Manager, Chartering for a global shipowner based in Singapore. This is a good job opportunity for someone with strong tanker experience who is keen to be closer to the commercial side of the business. The role will be involved in the chartering, marketing and employment of the company's tanker fleet across assigned trade routes.

Key responsibilities

• Managing chartering activities and vessel employment opportunities

• Handling CoA nominations and execution

• Preparing voyage estimations, freight calculations, and commercial proposals

• Monitoring vessel schedules to support optimal deployment, turnaround, and voyage profitability

• Working closely with operations and technical teams to ensure smooth voyage execution

• Conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks

• Drafting and reviewing charter party agreements

• Supporting commercial budgeting and forecasting activities

• Liaising with internal teams on post-fixture matters, invoicing, disputes, and contractual issues

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, shipowners, charterers, and customers

About you

• At least 6 years of total working experience in the tanker shipping sector

• Experience may be gained from vessel operations, chartering, or a combination of both in oil, product or chemical tankers

• Good understanding of tanker operations, voyage execution, cargo nominations and vessel schedules

• Exposure to voyage estimation, freight calculation, CoA administration or chartering activities will be advantageous

• Strong commercial sense and interest in market development

• Able to work under pressure in a fast-moving shipping environment

• Good communication skills and confidence in dealing with internal and external stakeholders

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related discipline
