ABOUT THE ROLE

This role provides hands-on accounting support to the Finance Business Partner, ensuring that EQUAL’s day-to-day financial operations are accurate, timely, and well-organised. You will be responsible for executing core accounting processes — including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and maintaining proper financial records — while supporting month-end closing and audit preparation. This is a foundational finance role designed for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and keen to build strong accounting fundamentals in a mission-driven organisation. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Day-to-Day Accounting Operations

• Process accounts payable (vendor invoices, staff claims) accurately and promptly 

• Support accounts receivable, including invoicing, receipts, and donation recording 

• Prepare and post journal entries with proper documentation 

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in the system 

Month-End Closing Support

• Closing of monthly full set of accounts on a timely basis
