We are seeking a self-motivated, commercially oriented and driven individual who can demonstrate a sound understanding of fundamental analysis, commercial acumen, risk assessment and management in the context of a commodities trading environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Candidates should also be data oriented and have an aptitude for numbers.

This role would suit a well-rounded analytics professional with strong quantitative and statistical skills together with previous industry experience. This demanding role is deeply involved in the day-to-day trading activities of the oil desk. As the Trading Analytics and Risk Management departments work closely together, applicants will be assessed for their suitability for either the Trading Analyst or Risk Manager position.

Position: Trading Analyst / Risk Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES [Trading Analyst]

• Contribute and take responsibility for internal analysis reports, covering oil products markets, prices, spreads, cracks and cross asset correlations analysis, and build tools that can support this analysis going forward and/or for the traders to use;
• Continually solicit requests for ad hoc analysis relevant to the business;
• Work closely with the trading desks to tailor the research and analysis in accordance with business requirements;
• Identifying market relationships & pricing anomalies to provide insights and competitive advantage for the traders;
• Analyse ideas with traders, produce research supporting them & foster discussion across trading books, working closely with analysts from other books;

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES [Risk Manager]

• Trade capture & reconciliation of physical oil and paper trades (Futures, Swaps, Options).
• Daily position exposure monitoring and reporting to traders, highlighting exposure concentration and hedging requirements.
• Execute and manage hedging programs for traders with brokers (internal / external).
• Daily Profit & Loss computation & validating this against market movements or other costs / revenues.
• Daily & Monthly Profit & Loss and working capital movement analysis and explanatory commentary.
• Daily capture and accrual of secondary costs/revenues and periodic reviews of book accrual status.
• Daily interaction with Operations staff on various aspects of physical oil logistics, quality and costs.
• Liaising with Financial Control team on accounting matters or trade / cost capture in accordance with company guidelines and generally accepted accounting principles.
• Tracking of physical trade movements and notifications and update the relevant trades in the system.
• Ad-hoc trader support and analysis – research and analysis on market structure, spreads, price movements, cargo movements, P&L investigations and explanations, etc.
• Review global position & VAR reports to ensure the desk exposure is reflected correctly in the desk and division VAR reporting.

Job Purpose

· This role drives the development and successful implementation of a highly effective global sector product for DGF AFR.

· Collaborate with the Global Sector Product Head, Regional Airfreight Head, and Country Product Heads to align the sector product strategy for the region.

· Take ownership of market and sector knowledge, leading the sub-function for the sector product within DGF.

· Provide input and lead the implementation of the functional strategy to develop segment strategies and business plans.

· Enhance the performance of sector and industry management, supporting business growth objectives in accordance with industry and market needs, division strategy, objectives, and Group guidelines and policies.

· Own operation excellence deliverance by providing guidance to the country and stations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Sector Product Strategy:

· Define sector product strategy in alignment with the overall product strategy, objectives, and policies.

· Drive operational plans, measures, and budgets to achieve defined results for the sector.

· Execute and implement the sector strategy and roadmap in relevant geographies.

· Produce, coach, and develop global win plans for the sector community and opportunities.

Product Development:

· Identify key trends in the industry and collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions.

· Establish global sector-specific infrastructure and operations together with regional or country teams.

· Establish commercial and operational guidelines and processes to drive product growth & margins.

· Monitor competitor activities, develop segment strategies and business plans for the sector.

· Provide high-level advice within the sector and regions to counterparts globally.

· Stay updated with sector-specific regulations and standards and communicate any changes or updates to relevant teams.

Sector Business Development:

· Serve as the senior point of contact for sector-related customers or shipments within the community.

· Lead, organize, and control highly strategic business activities and product initiatives.

· Support business development, account management, and sales activities for the specific sector.

· Participate in business development opportunities, including QBR and RFQ activities, for the sector.

· Direct the development of marketing plans, determine research priorities, recommend sales channels, and provide direction for product promotion.

Operational Excellence:

· Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the sector.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practices sharing across the sector and industry management.

· Implement performance metrics and KPIs to monitor and measure operational performance, ensuring alignment with defined goals and objectives.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, optimize resources, and enhance overall operational performance.

· Identify and mitigate operational risks within the sector, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Product Quality& Compliance:

· Develop and implement quality controls and compliance measures to ensure adherence to sector-specific regulations, standards, and guidelines.

· Establish and monitor processes and procedures to ensure product quality and consistency across the sector.

· Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that sector operations meet all applicable compliance requirements.

· Provide guidance and support to the sector in maintaining a high level of quality and compliance in all operations

Qualifications & Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in forwarding and/or sector-related companies.
• Extensive experience collaborating with global, regional, and country organizations to successfully implement solutions.
• Proven track record of achieving sector growth in terms of revenue and gross profit.
• Ability to navigate and excel in a matrix organization structure.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in freight forwarding and the logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of logistics infrastructure and service providers.
• Expertise in the sector industry, with a deep understanding of its dynamics and operational requirements.
• Demonstrated customer facing sales capabilities and a solid track record in the sector industry.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to successfully lead and execute projects.

Job Description:

• To manage a team of supervisors, workers, sub-contractors and vendors to execute works within given timeframe.
• To resolve site issues with supervisors, sub-contractors, vendors, main contractors and/or related third parties.
• To co-ordinate site works, workflows and inspections with main contractors’ site representatives including attending site co-ordination meetings.
• To plan, implement and monitor weekly works activities with a team of supervisors in accordance to the master schedule.
• To monitor work progresses, productivities, qualities and materials usages and ensure those items meet the targeted schedule, productivities, qualities and within quantities.
• To enforce and monitor all supervisors, workers and sub-contractors abide to safety, health and environment rules and regulations.
• To prepare shop drawings, ‘AS-Built” drawings and Materials Bill of Quantities required for the project.
• To keep track, monitor and ensure timely submission of all shop drawings, materials and “AS-BUILT” drawings.
• To co-ordinate with main contractors and third parties on Combined Services Drawing (CSD) and resolve any clashes prior to construction.
• To attend all Tools Box meetings and all safety meetings.
• To implement Testing & Commissioning plan.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / ITC certificate in Electrical Engineering with 3 years experiences. Those with more years of experiences will be considered for senior position.
• Building Construction Safety Supervisor course and any other WSH related certificates.
• Candidates with some MEP design experiences will be an added advantages.

JOB SUMMARY

The Manager/Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Senior Care Centre at Canberra, ensuring that high-quality care is provided to the clients in the programme. The Manager/Assistant Manager will work closely with the Reporting Officer to ensure that the centre's policies and procedures are followed and that the centre meets all relevant regulations. Additionally, the Manager/Assistant Manager will be responsible for providing support and guidance to the centre's staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide the best possible care to our clients.

JOB SCOPE/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration

· Responsible to management in all matters pertaining to administration, operations and control of the centre

· Assist management in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure that the centre meets all relevant regulatory requirements

· Assist in preparing annual budget for the centre

Service Development & Sustainability

· Assist in programme planning and services review of the programmes. Together with management, may be involved with strategic planning for development of the centre based on the needs of the clients (e.g. rehabilitation initiatives, active ageing models, dementia care, etc)

Networking

· Participate in outreach to referral agencies, community organisations and hospitals for client referrals to the centre

Operations/Professional Matters

· Supervise a multidisciplinary professional team including social workers, therapists, clinical support staff and administrative staff, and work with various government as well as community-based organisations to offer services to adult and elderly with disabilities

· Assist management by leading the professional team in developing the service models, setting service guidelines/standards and monitoring service delivery of programmes

· Track the achievement of key performance indicators by providing progress reports and data analysis for planning and reporting purposes

· Provide leadership and guidance to the staff, including setting performance targets and providing regular feedback and coaching

· Assist in submission of indicators to all relevant funding agencies such as MOH, MSF, NCSS and SG Enable etc. Coordinate the claims for submission to funding agencies

JOB HOLDER REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline related to business or health administration from a good University

• At least three years of experience in a senior care centre or a related field

• Excellent management and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team

• A preferred understanding and knowledge of the sector and dynamics

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

• Strong organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, IT, Marketing, Business, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of B2B marketing experience in data centers, IT infrastructure, AI/GPU platforms, or cooling solutions.
• Solid understanding of data center operations, rack layouts, cooling technologies, and GPU-based AI systems.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear value propositions for non-technical stakeholders.
