About the Role
We’re looking for a creative advertising professional who can develop compelling, travel-relevant concepts and produce high-quality campaign assets that help drive awareness and bookings. You’ll create messaging, visuals, and content that reflect the brand and resonate with travelers—across digital, social, email, partner campaigns, and seasonal promotions.
Key Responsibilities
· Creative Concepting & Copywriting
o Develop campaign concepts and creative angles for tourism offerings (destinations, attractions, tours, packages, events, hospitality, etc.).
o Write and refine ads copy (headlines, primary text, taglines, email subject lines, ad scripts) aligned to brand voice and target audiences.
o Translate strategy into clear creative briefs for internal teams and external partners.
· Campaign Asset Creation
o Create or oversee development of digital and print advertising assets including: display ads, paid social creatives, video/short-form storyboards, landing-page creative direction, banners, brochures, and seasonal promotions.
o Adapt creative for multiple formats and placements while maintaining consistency (size variants, specs, platform requirements).
· Production Collaboration
o Work closely with designers, video editors, photographers, and printers/vendors to ensure creative is delivered on time and meets technical requirements.
o Provide art direction during shoots and review proofs/cutdowns for accuracy and quality.
· Channel & Platform Creative Best Practices
o Tailor creative for each channel (e.g., paid social versus programmatic display versus search-ad extensions).
o Ensure creatives follow platform guidelines and tourism brand standards (compliance, claims, accessibility, localization needs).
· Testing & Optimization
o Partner with performance/marketing teams to develop creative variations for A/B and multivariate tests.
o Review creative performance insights and iteratively improve concepts, messaging, and formats.
· Brand & Seasonal Storytelling
o Maintain and strengthen the tourism brand identity through consistent creative execution.
o Develop seasonal campaigns tied to travel peaks, weather/events, holidays, and regional culture.
· Partnership Creative
o Support co-marketing initiatives with tourism partners (DMOs, hotels, attractions, tour operators, airlines, influencers).
o Create partner-ready creative toolkits and deliverables (template ads, brand guidelines, content packs).
Qualifications (Preferred)
· Experience: 3–7 years in advertising, creative, brand marketing, or content creation—preferably with tourism, travel, hospitality, or destination marketing exposure.
· Creative Strength: Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, copywriting, and/or multi-format campaign work.
· Writing Skills: Clear, engaging writing with an ability to communicate benefits, urgency, and audience fit.
· Production Awareness: Understanding of creative production workflows, timelines, and technical specifications.
· Tooling (as applicable): Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign), Canva (or similar), video editing/storyboarding tools, and familiarity with ad platforms.
· Collaboration: Comfortable working cross-functionally and iterating based on feedback and performance data.
Skills & Competencies
· Creative ideation and narrative storytelling
· Strong attention to detail and consistency
· Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple campaign deliverables
· Copy + visual thinking (or at least strong collaboration with designers)
· Marketing sensibility: understanding audiences, offers, and funnels
· Receptive to feedback and data-informed iteration
