Qualifications

About you: 

• Minimum 8-10+ years of experience in a buy/sell side FX dealing environment and/or Treasury functions.
• Experience dealing across a broad range of currencies, especially Asian Exotics
• Confident dealing spot, forwards, swaps, and NDFs to manage live exposures
• An experienced professional relationship builder with our banks and counterparties

We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to take charge of SCADA system engineering for rail and metro infrastructure projects. This role will lead technical strategy, ensure system robustness, and drive end-to-end engineering excellence—from early design stages through integration, testing, commissioning, and final system delivery. You will serve as the key technical decision-maker, ensuring alignment with industry standards while supporting smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Oversight & Direction

• Provide overall technical direction for SCADA and control system solutions within rail projects.
• Serve as the main subject matter expert for SCADA and PLC systems, ensuring designs meet safety, regulatory, and project-specific requirements.
• Review and endorse key engineering outputs, including system designs, interface definitions, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Establish and maintain engineering standards, design guidelines, and quality control practices across the project lifecycle.

Engineering Execution & Integration

• Oversee the full implementation of SCADA and PLC systems, from initial design through development, integration, and commissioning.
• Coordinate system interfaces across various railway subsystems such as signaling, power distribution, and operations control environments.
• Guide hardware and software integration activities to ensure seamless system performance.
• Lead and monitor testing phases, including factory and on-site validation activities, ensuring readiness for deployment.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Around 8–12 years of experience in SCADA/PLC engineering, ideally within rail, metro, or other critical infrastructure projects.
• Prior experience in a technical leadership capacity (e.g. lead engineer, technical manager) on complex system implementations.
• Strong understanding of SCADA architectures, PLC systems, and multi-system integration in high-reliability environments.
• Hands-on familiarity with PLC programming and safety-critical system requirements.
• Experience working with platforms such as Siemens and Schneider.
• Able to interpret complex engineering documentation including schematics, system designs, and specifications.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-pressure project environments.

Job Description:

1. Manage the project from end to end perspective independently.
2. This includes planning the timeline, tracking the deliverables from the vendors and other teams, updating the presentation deck for the weekly Project Status meetings.
3. Run daily stand up meetings with the key business and IT stakeholders.
4. Identify potential risks and issues and highlight upfront with mitigation plans.
5. Tracking of IT Spend against the approved budget.
6. Plan for implementation cut-over, identify the dependencies for cut-over and prepare the run-book.
7. Work with the IT Governance teams for the various SDLC checklists and sign offs.

Skillsets required:

1. Strong PM skills with at least 8-10 years’ experience in managing complex projects involving multiple systems interfacing to each other.

3. PMP certification will be an advantage
