We are looking for an experienced and responsible General Manager (Construction) to lead and oversee the overall operations of our construction business. The candidate will be responsible for managing project planning, construction progress, manpower deployment, subcontractor coordination, cost control, workplace safety, and compliance with relevant regulations. The General Manager will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall management and daily operations of construction projects

• Plan and monitor project schedules, progress, and resource allocation

• Lead and supervise project teams, site staff, and subcontractors

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities

Job Description

·       Report to the Project Director. The Project manager is responsible to lead the project team for the execution of the project from commencement until completion and defects liability period.

·       The detailed duties and responsibilities of project manager includes but not limited to the following:-

·       Prepare master programme and ensure that the project complete within the stipulated or extended contract period.

·       Implementation of all ISO, quality, EHS, green and gracious procedures and requirements.

·       Complete the project with quality to meet client's / consultant's requirements.

·       Ensure compliances to Authorities’ requirements.

·       To deal with consultants and owners on all matters including solving of technical problems, submission of shop drawings and samples, etc.

·       With the support of QS, plan and monitor the confirmation of sub-contractors and suppliers so that they are awarded according to the scope and procurement schedule.

·       To ensure that the appointed sub-contractors are able to complete sub-contract works within the schedule and comply with contractual requirements.

·       Manage the actual cost of project so that it is below the budgeted cost.

·       Manage the subordinates to so that they are following work systems, productive, andencourage team work among the team members.

·       Handle defects works after handing over the project

Job Requirement

• Degree in Civil Engineering/ M&E Engineering

·       At least 5 years of experience

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, Building, or related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in business development or sales within interior design, renovation, or office fit-out industry.

• Basic knowledge of office renovation processes and technical scope is a plus

• Ability to read basic layout plans and renovation drawings is an advantage.

Sales Manager – Aluminium Company (Job Scope)

1. Business Development & Sales Strategy

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets
• Identify new market opportunities (residential, commercial, landed, A&A projects)
• Build and expand client base including developers, architects, main contractors, and consultants
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments

2. Client Relationship Management

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
• Attend meetings, site visits, and presentations with clients, architects, and consultants
• Understand client requirements and propose suitable aluminium solutions (windows, doors, curtain wall, etc.)
• Handle client feedback, negotiations, and after-sales follow-ups

3. Tendering & Quotation

• Coordinate with QS and technical team for accurate costing and proposal preparation

4. Project Coordination (Pre & Post Sales)

• Work closely with design, engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Participate in project handover from sales to project team
• Monitor project progress and ensure client expectations are met
• Resolve commercial or contractual issues during project execution

5. Sales Target & Performance Management

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance analysis
• Track conversion rates from leads to awarded projects

6. Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor sales executives
• Set KPIs and monitor team performance
• Provide training on product knowledge and sales techniques

7. Technical & Product Knowledge

• Maintain strong understanding of aluminium systems:Curtain wall systemsAluminium windows & doorsLouvers, railings, façade systems
• Liaise with suppliers and system providers for technical updates
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations

8. Networking & Industry Engagement
