The Role

Reporting to the Global Head of Delivery, the Senior Operations Manager leads service delivery, account management, and project operations across APAC. You will own the operational health of the region, working in close partnership with the UK and EMEA delivery teams to ensure consistency across our global follow the sun model.

This is a hands on leadership role. You will be accountable for the people, processes, and tooling that keep customer environments running, whether that is a P1 at 3am, an agency led launch weekend, a QBR, or a complex migration project.

What you'll own

Service delivery

• Lead the APAC service delivery team across all shifts, ensuring consistent quality, response times, and customer experience
• Own SLA and KPI performance for the region, including MTTA, MTTR, escalation rates, and CSAT
• Act as senior escalation point and incident commander for P1 and P2 events
• Coordinate operational readiness for agency led campaigns, launches, and peak trading events
• Drive post incident reviews and the closure of corrective actions

Account and agency partner management

• Support the APAC account management function across both direct customers and agency partners
• Build trusted relationships with key agency partners, acting as senior JAM contact for delivery quality, escalations, and joint planning
• Own the cadence of service reviews and QBRs, making sure operational performance translates into renewals and expansion
• Identify opportunities for JAM to add value across managed services, professional services, and GenAI
• Maintain account and partner health, churn risk, and pipeline visibility through HubSpot

Project delivery oversight

• Manage and support the delivery of customer and agency led projects across the region, including migrations, modernisation, transitions into managed services, and GenAI engagements
• Govern project scope, timelines, budget, and resourcing alongside project managers, solution architects, and engineering leads
• Act as the senior point of escalation for project risks and ensure clean handover into BAU

People, rota, and leave management

• Directly manage and develop a regional team of Service Delivery Managers, Site Reliability Engineers, and Incident Managers, providing coaching, structured performance reviews, and clear career progression pathways to support continuous upskilling and growth
• Own rota design and shift rostering, balancing coverage, fairness, and cost
• Manage leave planning to ensure cover during peak periods, public holidays, and major customer events
• Own workforce planning and capacity modelling against demand, agency campaign cycles, and customer growth

Global alignment and continuous improvement

• Maintain a strong working partnership with UK and EMEA delivery leadership, ensuring smooth follow the sun handovers and consistent customer experience across regions
• Align APAC delivery practices with global standards set by the Global Head of Delivery, contributing regional perspective into group wide initiatives
• Own the operational tooling stack and drive automation and improve efficiency
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce noise and lift productivity

Commercial and governance

• Support pre sales on operational scoping, shift coverage models, and SLA commitments
• Contribute to commercial discipline around managed services margin, utilisation, and cost to serve
• Maintain operational compliance with our certifications and customer obligations (ISO 27001, SOC 2, AWS MSP, IRAP where relevant)
• Own operational risk management for the region, including business continuity and on call welfare

What we're looking for

Essential

• Significant experience leading service delivery operations within a managed services provider, hyperscaler partner, digital agency, or large scale cloud environment
• Proven track record managing distributed shift based teams across multiple time zones, ideally including SEA, ANZ, and India
• Strong account management background, with credibility to lead customer and partner relationships at senior level
• Demonstrable experience working with or alongside digital, creative, or technology agencies
• Deep working knowledge of AWS, ideally with exposure to GCP and Azure
• Strong incident management credentials, comfortable as incident commander for high severity events
