Key Responsibilities

A. Operations & Compliance

• Oversee the daily operations of the outlet to ensure operational efficiency and service excellence.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations, including all SFA requirements.
• Execute outlet-level marketing activities, promotions, events, and bookings in alignment with brand plans.

B. Team Leadership & Training

• Manage outlet staffing needs including hiring, rostering, and performance development.
• Conduct on-the-job training and coaching to uphold service and product standards.
• Foster a positive and professional team culture to drive motivation and accountability.

C. Product, Service & Customer Experience

• Maintain consistent food and beverage quality aligned with brand standards.
• Uphold high levels of customer service and promptly manage feedback and inquiries across all channels.
• Address and resolve service issues to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

D. Financial & Inventory Management

• Take full accountability for outlet P&L, operating costs, and budget adherence.
• Manage stock ordering, receiving, and storage, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments for timely replenishment and operational support.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in F&B or hospitality operations.
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Financial acumen with ability to manage costs and interpret P&L reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations to ensure smooth workflow and service delivery

Required competencies and certifications

• Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, or similar role
• Proven customer service experience in a managerial capacity
• Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, including the ability to recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and staff
• Familiarity with restaurant management software
• Strong leadership, motivational, and people management skills
• Acute financial management skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or Culinary Schooling (not essential but advantageous)

Requirements

We are seeking a structured and hands-on Finance Manager to take ownership of financial reporting, financial performance and oversight, Board of Directors’ documentation preparation and payroll processes for our Singapore entities, with additional responsibilities towards our Dubai branch. The companies provide shipping and digital services within the Torvald Klaveness Group and comprise approximately 40 employees in total.

We are looking for an experienced and confident professional who is driven by accurate, timely, and compliant execution, in line with relevant regulations and corporate principles.

This is a key operational role within our organization involving broad exposure across the organization. You will lead a dedicated local team and collaborate closely with both the Finance and HR teams at the Head Office in Oslo and the accounting team in Manila. You will also engage with the local Board of Directors and maintain close interaction with auditors and relevant regulatory authorities.

You will be employed by Klaveness Asia Pte Ltd and report to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance & Reporting

• Monthly financial reporting for Singapore and Dubai entities, including analysis and delivery of accurate and timely figures
• Lead quarterly forecasting processes and provide structured input to HQ
• Ensure cost control and overall financial oversight
• Maintain and further develop cash management, payment procedures and banking relationships
• Manage audits, statutory reporting, and tax compliance (including GST / IRAS)
• Oversee intercompany transactions and transfer pricing compliance
• Continuously improving accounting and reporting processes in line with group standards

Board & Governance

• Prepare high-quality board materials, agendas, and minutes for currently three legal entities
• Ensure structured follow-up and implementation of board decisions and resolutions

Payroll & HR Administration

• Perform and manage payroll runs, ensuring compliance with CPF submission requirements and employee tax reporting obligations.
• Support key HR processes such as advertising, onboarding/offboarding and handle work pass administration
• Maintain employee data, HR systems, and ensure compliance with local requirements
• Maintain and update staff rules and policies in cooperation with Head office
• Coordinate insurance schemes and required statutory reporting

Qualifications

• Around 10 years of relevant and hands-on experience within finance and payroll/HR processes - audit background would be an advantage
• At least bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting 
• Solid understanding of financial reporting, accounting, compliance, and governance
• Structured, reliable, analytical and operational, with the ability to execute, prioritize, and collaborate across functions and cultures
• Strong communications skills and the ability to challenge and to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment
