The overall objective of the group is to provide Private Bank clients with institutional level access to Citi’s full Markets capabilities. Clients gain access to a wide range of products, research, institutional level pricing, expertise, and trading capabilities across global markets.

This role is based within the Citi Global Wealth Investments (“CGWI”) Capital Markets Group. The Capital Markets Sales team is the sales and marketing arm of the CGWI Capital Markets group, curating and delivering our expansive products and services offerings to Investment Counselors (ICs), Private Bankers and clients. The team is tasked with growing participation across asset classes and multiple product types (OTC derivatives, structured notes, listed options, cash products) and serves as the salesforce’s first point of call for all non-discretionary investments-related inquiries and opportunities.

The individual requires a thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas. The individual demonstrates excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally and externally, often at a senior level. Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the internal and external marketing of the full range of Citi Wealth’s Capital Markets offerings that encompasses equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, rates, commodities and hybrids, for both Private Bank & consumer segments.

• Work closely with CIO and asset class advisory teams to determine how to best implement long-term and tactical themes within client portfolios. These solutions can include structured products that the Specialist will need to articulate in a clear and convincing way to key stakeholders.

• Work closely with specialists in other asset classes (eg, Mutual Funds and Alternatives) to determine product synergies and alternatives.

• Attend client meeting for product education, sales pitches, market color and platform capabilities. They should be able to offer bespoke solutions based on the client needs.

• Identify best investment products; scanning the market for best ideas; ideate new product ideas with RMs/ICs/Sales teams

• Conduct regular team huddles, road shows, and commentary with sales team on product ideas across asset class and manage FAQs

• Prepare product training materials and conduct new product training to sales team

• Ideate promotional campaigns via Digital Channel to support RM's sales strategy

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 - 10 years of relevant working experience, in particular related to structured product and/or fixed income

Position Summary

The SVP of E&S Risk will lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of environmental and social risks associated with the lending and advisory portfolios. With a sharp market & commercial perspective and positioned within the first line of defence function, this role involves shaping the Bank’s E&S risk assessments, actively working onclient E&S engagements, while looking at and developing the Bank’s frameworks and policies, conducting complex due diligence on high-risk transactions, and guiding front-line RMs to ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., Equator Principles or EP, IFC Performance Standards) and the firm's NetZero commitments. The role combines commercial awareness with strong risk discipline to ensure that the Bank’s transactions and client engagements align with international environmental and social standards, regulatory expectations, and the Bank’s Net Zero commitments.

Key Responsibilities

E&S Transaction Advisory & Due Diligence:

• Lead E&S due diligence (including EP, ESDD) for complex and high-risk transactions.
• Ensure that the Transition Finance transactions are taken through detailed technical review and internal governance/ transaction validation.
• Act as the senior IBG Sustainable Finance E&S approver while identifying key risks, defining mitigation measures and firmly keeping the commercials of the transactions in sight.

Policy Development & Implementation:

• Drive the creation, enhancement, and implementation of sector-specific position statements, E&S Risk Management Frameworks, and exclusion lists to align with the Bank’s risk appetite.
• Support ongoing integration of climate risk considerations into transaction assessment processes.

Client Engagement & Negotiation:

• Advise client coverage teams and external clients on market-aligned and market-leading ESG solutioning, ESG risk management, including negotiating E&S clauses in loan documentation and Action Plans.
• Support constructive client engagement on sustainability practices and transition pathways where appropriate.

Strategic Risk Integration:

• Actively and regularly collaborate with Risk Management Group and CSO teams to integrate E&S factors into underwriting and investment processes from a business perspective.

• Provide input into the development of climate risk methodologies, sustainability assessment tools, and ESG risk monitoring practices across the Bank’s portfolio.

Regulatory & Market Leadership:

• Monitor emerging E&S best practices, regulations and market developments (e.g., carbon markets, biodiversity) to guide the Bank’s thought leadership and shape its overall positioning.

Capacity Building:

• Develop and deliver training programs on ESG risk assessment for internal stakeholders (e.g., on Transition Risk).
• Mentor and support junior members of the E&S risk team to strengthen the Bank’s technical capabilities in sustainable finance and environmental risk assessment.

Requirements

• Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in environmental and social risk management, sustainability consulting, or ESG banking.

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Finance, Economics, or related fields. Master’s degree preferred.
• Deep working knowledge of international standards, specifically Equator Principles IV, IFC Performance Standards (IFC PS), and WBEHS Guidelines.
• Practical experience in sector-specific E&S challenges (e.g., Oil & Gas, Mining, Renewable Energy, Metals & Mining, etc.).
• Strong understanding of banking products, deal structures, and credit risk processes.

• Proven ability to engage with senior management, to influence stakeholders and when required, to work independently and together with the Team Lead in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Certifications

• CFA Institute’s Certificate in ESG Investing.

Summary of Job Description

The SVP will report to the CEO and be responsible for the overall sales comprising Travel, Hotels & Related Services. It is expected for the SVP to oversee and be responsible for the growth of the various business segments globally with particular emphasis on corporate travel sales in Asia.

The incumbent is expected to develop sales strategies and oversee the implementation of these strategies across the business verticals globally. The SVP will be required to closely collaborate with business partners from the travel industries like hotels, travel agents, attractions and transport operators to grow its proprietary B2B and B2C platform and application.

To be cognizant and forward thinking and have working knowledge of the tourism and travel industries including travel related products and corporate sales.

Essential functions

· Ability to set key performance benchmarks for sales and achieve YOY targets;

· Proven track record in the travel and corporate sales industries;

· To assist the CEO in identifying, strategising and promoting the business segments including implementation of the strategies to further expand online and offline product offerings including B2B with travel agents, corporate and event sales (MICE);

Qualifications/Professional requirements

· Bachelor degree in sales, marketing, communication or equivalent qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates from the travel and/or travel products related industries;

· Minimally 15 years of sales experience in the travel industry and/or major hotels, airlines, international or regional sales offices or travel agencies;

· In-depth knowledge of travel product offerings including hotels, attractions and transport services will be required, prior overseas postings will be favourably considered;

· Experience in dealing with business partners including hotels, Attractions and travel agents will be required;

· Exhibits strong integrity, teamwork and trust attributes including management skills;

· Position is based in Singapore but travel will be required.
