About MyRepublic Mobile and Reward Land

MyRepublic Mobile is building Reward Land, a rewards app designed to connect consumers with offline merchants across Singapore. Through Reward Land, we aim to create a merchant network across F&B, retail, lifestyle, beauty, wellness, services, and other everyday local business categories.

We are looking for a driven Business Development Executive to help build Reward Land’s offline SMB merchant network from the ground up. This is a hands-on field sales role focused on identifying, approaching, pitching, and onboarding merchant partners.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys being on the ground, meeting business owners, starting conversations, handling rejection, and converting leads into onboarded merchants.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and approach suitable offline SMB merchants across Singapore

• Build a lead pipeline through cold calls, emails, referrals, networking, walk-ins, and field visits

• Visit merchant locations regularly to pitch Reward Land’s merchant partnership offering

• Speak directly with business owners, store managers, and decision-makers

• Explain Reward Land’s value proposition clearly and confidently

• Handle merchant objections and follow up consistently to move leads toward onboarding

• Support the full merchant acquisition process from prospecting to onboarding

• Coordinate merchant onboarding requirements, documentation, and setup support

• Respond to merchant enquiries and provide basic post-onboarding support

• Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, pipeline status, and merchant feedback

• Achieve weekly and monthly outreach, meeting, and merchant acquisition targets

• Share ground feedback on merchant needs, competitor activity, and market opportunities

Who We’re Looking For

• Fresh graduate or candidate with 0-3 years of sales, business development, merchant acquisition, retail, F&B, customer service, roadshow sales, or field sales experience

• Comfortable with cold calling, email outreach, walk-ins, and face-to-face merchant meetings

• Willing to be on the ground visiting merchants rather than working only from the office

• Target-driven, resilient, and able to handle objections or rejection professionally

• Strong communicator who can explain simple business benefits clearly

• Proactive and disciplined in following up with leads

• Able to work independently and manage daily sales activities

• Hungry to earn more through performance incentives

• Familiarity with Singapore SMB merchants, F&B, retail, lifestyle, beauty, wellness, or local services is a plus

• Prior merchant acquisition, payment/POS, fintech, rewards, marketplace, or SME sales experience is a strong advantage, but not required

• Standby support and emergency call for customer support.
• Providing after-sales technical support, site recovery and maintenance responsibilities to distributors/end customers.
• Generate a service report to customer in a systematic manner.
• Investigate and handle all customers’ complaints related to product failures.

• Review and assist in determining the extend of damage and repairs of warranty claims from distributors.

This position will have responsibility for providing process support and installation of new plasma etch / clean / deposition systems at customer sites. This includes design, evaluation and documentation of process window for new installations or Lam recommended field hardware modifications / upgrades.

1. Work closely with Account team and customers to understand customer technology roadmaps, process flow, inflection points, requirements and business issues / challenges. Identify areas where Lam is able to value-add.
2. Work with Account team and customers to execute to penetration and defense strategy, including coordinating with Global Product Group on product demonstration
3. Perform startup of “capacity add” Lam systems i.e. match results to existing systems and applications

• Install and/or relocate equipment at customers’ sites. Conduct associated start-up, cut over and check-out activities on the newly installed systems
• Provide warranty tool support or paid service for out-of-warranty tool by performing on-site general preventive maintenance of equipment and attending to equipment abnormalities. Co-ordinate all service actions with customer to minimize downtime or system interruptions
• Apply troubleshooting techniques to eliminate equipment malfunctions. Conduct diagnostic procedures to isolate problem. Assess severity of malfunctions and determine corrective actions required or escalate for assistance and prompt resolution. When necessary, replace defective units, components or parts where appropriate
• Liaise and co-ordinate with customers in relation to short-term defect work
• Implement field modifications or updates as released in Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) which may involve removal and installation of assemblies, sub-assemblies, systems and subsystems
• Carry out Tier 2 process qualification work
