Job Summary
To manage financial closing, GST, bank reconciliation, audit, inventory costing, and reporting to ensure accurate accounting and timely financial reporting.
Responsibilities
· Perform monthly and annual financial closing activities to ensure accurate financial records and annual audit process
· Prepare journal entries and conduct general ledger reconciliations to maintain accurate accounting data
· Manage monthly inventory closing and costing activities to reflect true stock values
· Prepare and review stock provisions and post corresponding journal entries to ensure correct financial reporting
· Plan and coordinate annual stocktaking with internal departments to verify inventory accuracy
· Verify and process supplier invoices and payments promptly to maintain vendor relationships and cash flow
· Provide guidance to junior staff and survey reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy
· Maintain accurate accounting records and submit financial reports within deadlines
· Execute other ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business operations
Required competencies andcertifications
· Qualificationin Finance or Accountancy
· Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience with exposure to full set of accounts and month-end closing.
