• Mentor engineers via structured training, case studies, and hands-on development; contribute to Micron’s mentoring programs and help build SME pipelines for Advanced Thin Films.

Technical Expertise: 

• Advanced proficiency in thin film processing (Plasma Enhanced CVD, Thermal CVD, ALD). 

• Hands-on experience with structural and electric film hardware and equipment optimization (dielectric and carbon based films). 

• Hardware optimization: Precursor delivery & temperature control, chamber matching/segregation, batch vs single wafer trade-offs, metrology hooks. 

• Strong understanding of process-mechanical-device interactions, reliability modeling, and 3D NAND scaling. 

• Skilled in advanced characterization techniques (SIMS, XPS, TEM, electrical stress testing) and correlating process parameters to structural and device performance. 

• Proven ability to lead technical problem-solving and support engineers developing their skills. 

Requirements :

PhD or equivalent in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 

15 to 20 years of experience in Thin Film research and development for NAND process specifically plasma and thermal CVD for dielectric (including highK and lowK) and carbon-based depositions. 

Demonstrated leadership in multi-functional development and vendor collaboration.

As a Senior/Staff Firmware Test Engineer in the Solid State Drive (SSD) group at Micron Technology, you will help ensure our SSD products have world-class performance and reliability. Responsibilities

• Build comprehensive firmware verification plans for various firmware features.

• Develop white/ grey-box, known, and closed system testing methods to verify and validate firmware products.

• Analyze failures from weekly regressions and perform root-cause analysis, requiring deep SSD domain expertise.

• Manage test development, test deployment, test automation, and reporting activities.

• Communicate challenges, solutions, and mitigation plans to cross-functional teams and management with clear and effective communication of both technical and non-technical topics.

• Participate in code reviews and guide the team to ensure comprehensive coverage and accurate architectural build.

• Establish strong working relationships with firmware development engineers to improve code quality.

• Lead a team of technical people, as required.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science

• 6-8 years of pertinent experience in SSD firmware test development

• Comprehensive understanding and substantial experience in SSD firmware testing and Python programming

• Deep understanding of storage industry protocols such as PCIe/ NVMe

• Familiarity with Agile development, GIT development flow and branch management.

• Experience with automated build, continuous integration, and test automation systems

• Highly organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results

• Ability to work on complex tasks independently with minimal supervision

• Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capability to mentor less experienced engineers

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertake menu planning

• Oversee and participate in the preparation and cooking and serving of main meals, snacks, cakes, etc. in accordance with specified menus.

• Determine quantities to be cooked and size of portions to be served, taking into account diets to meet medical, ethnic and personal needs.

• Check quantity and quality of stock received and notify suppliers of deficiencies.

• Oversee washing and cleaning of floors, crockery, utensils, work surfaces and other kitchens equipment to ensure that the necessary hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained in the kitchen and dining room as appropriate.

• Ensure that the appropriate clothing, including head wear, is worn at all times in accordance with the health guidelines.

• Co-operate fully with the statutory inspections and implement recommendation as appropriate.

• Supervise other the Kitchen Staff Team on shift and undertake performance appraisal

Qualification and competences

• Certificate in food production from a recognized institution

• Food handler’s certificate.

• Experience of 3 years working in a kitchen providing meals for large numbers

• Ability to prepare and serve well-presented and attractive meals to individual requirements.

• A positive attitude and commitment to providing nutritious meals and offer a range of choices including to those with specific dietary requirements.

• The ability to form positive relationships with colleagues.

• Knowledge of prevailing regulations on Hygiene.
