We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team and be a key player in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and backend services using Java and JavaScript. You will work closely with cross-functional Agile teams in building RESTful APIs and microservices, and contribute to well-tested, high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, and Node.js, c++
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop responsive user interfaces with React.js and TypeScript.
• Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams including QA, DevOps, and Product.
• Support DevOps initiatives, including CI/CD pipelines and Docker containerization.
• Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot performance and scalability issues across the application stack.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• 3 years above of professional software development experience.
• Fresh graduates will be considered for entry-level roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and JavaScript, as well as in Spring Boot, Node.js, and React.js.
• Sound understanding of TypeScript and experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Docker, Elasticsearch, and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Understanding of system design, APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD tools, or infrastructure-as-code is a plus.

Senior Engineer (PLC & SCADA)

5 days, 8.30am to 5.50pm

Salary: $6800-$7000+/-

Location: Bedok 

Job scope:

• Lead the design and development of PLC, SCADA, and control systems (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider)
• Integrate hardware and software systems across multiple platforms
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
• Support site installation, commissioning, and system troubleshooting
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, clients, and vendors
• Prepare and review engineering documentation and reports
• Prepare system architecture, control philosophies, and functional design specifications
• Design control panels, wiring diagrams, and I/O lists
• Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Configure communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC)
• Perform software integration between various subsystems and third-party equipment
• Conduct internal testing and debugging of control systems
• Monitor engineering progress and ensure timely delivery of deliverables
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients on technical matters
• Propose improvements in system design, engineering practices, and workflows
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field
• 5–8 years of experience in system integration / industrial automation
• Strong hands-on experience in PLC/SCADA programming and commissioning
• Familiar with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC)
• Experience in control panels and instrumentation systems
• With valid class 3/3A license
