About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to work across two fronts: protecting our own systems, data, and customers, and delivering security projects for our clients. You will design and build security controls across multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure), lead incident response, and partner with engineering teams to make security a built-in part of how software ships. On the client side, you will scope and deliver hands-on security engagements, advise customer stakeholders, and represent us as a trusted technical expert.

What We're Looking For

Required

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of network security, operating system internals (Linux and Windows), and common attack and defense techniques.
• Deep hands-on experience securing AWS and Azure at scale: identity and access management, network segmentation (VPC/VNet, security groups, NSGs), key management, and workload and data protection.
• Proficiency with at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Go, Bash, or similar) for automation and tooling.
• Experience with detection and response: SIEM platforms, EDR tools, and log analysis at scale.

Role: Senior Architecture Engineer (Operations Services) [P4/5 Grade]

Location: Novena

Type of Role: Contract (12 months renewable)

Remuneration: Base Salary - $12,000

Renumeration: 1 month bonus upon completion of 12 months' contract (subjected to attendance, performance etc..)

Role Overview:

The Architecture Engineer will join the Operations Architecture (OA) team onsite, supporting critical infrastructure for hybrid cloud, on-premises, and network environments. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain secure, highly available architecture while ensuring compliance with Government IM8 and CIS standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Design & Implementation

• Architect network solutions (routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers) compliant with IM8/CIS hardening benchmarks.
• Manage VMware virtualization (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) and Dell EMC storage (PowerMAX, Unity, Isilon) with a focus on security, redundancy, and performance optimization.
• Configure and harden Windows/Linux servers and Oracle Solaris OS (Active Directory, Group Policy, patching, Zones/LDOMs) to meet government security requirements.

2. Database & Middleware Support

• Administer MSSQL, Oracle DB (19c+, RAC, RMAN), and NoSQL systems, ensuring secure configurations, backups, and performance tuning, including Solaris-based Oracle deployments.

3. Government Compliance & Operations

• Enforce IM8/CIS compliance across infrastructure (e.g., STIGs, audit logging, encryption) including Solaris OS hardening.
• Document architectures, security controls, and processes for accreditation (e.g., SAF, CSA) with Solaris-specific documentation.

4. Troubleshooting & Leadership

• Lead cross-domain incident resolution (network/firewall/storage/OS/DB/Solaris) in alignment with ITIL v4 practices.
• Mentor junior engineers on Solaris administration and security best practices.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on system hardening (including Solaris) and vulnerability remediation.

• Networking:

1. Cisco/Checkpoint/Palo Alto (firewalls, SD-WAN).
2. Protocols: BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DNS, DHCP (IM8-compliant configurations).

Senior Automation Engineer

You will be responsible for industrializing and sustaining automation and robotic solutions to improve process repeatability, quality, and productivity across the repair facility. This role provides technical leadership in deploying industrial robots, collaborative robots (cobots), and other automation methods to enable consistent and reliable repair processes. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize applied methods, drive scalability across processes, and build a sustainment program for long-term reliability of automated systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Define automation architecture, standards, and best practices across PLCs, robotics, motion control, safety, and networking.

• Lead design, programming, and commissioning of industrial and collaborative robots (ABB, Fanuc, UR, KUKA) including integration with vision systems, drives, and HMIs.

• Translate business and process needs into control strategies, functional design specifications, and acceptance criteria.

• Lead automation projects from concept to handover—scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and resource coordination.

• Manage vendors, system integrators, and contractors through FAT/SAT planning, execution, and on-time handover.

• Use offline programming and simulation tools (e.g., ABB RobotStudio, FANUC ROBOGUIDE) for cell design and cycle-time optimization.

• Design, program, and commission Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 systems (IEC 61131-3 ladder, structured text, function block), including motion, EtherCAT I/O, and TwinSAFE.

• Conduct system validation and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and ensure documentation accuracy.

• Implement process control plans, PFMEA, and risk assessments for new automated systems.

• Monitor automation performance using key metrics (OEE, FPY, downtime) and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Develop sustainment programs for preventive maintenance, software version control, and operator competency.

• Partner with EHS, Quality, Maintenance, and IT to ensure system safety, cybersecurity, and compliance with Life Saving Rules.

• Mentor engineers and technicians in automation and robotics best practices.

• Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives to enhance flow, safety, and process stability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience delivering industrial automation and robotics projects from concept to commissioning.

• Proven hands-on experience with industrial robot programming (ABB, Fanuc, UR, or KUKA).

• Strong knowledge of PLCs and control systems, preferably Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 (EtherCAT, motion, TwinSAFE).

• Demonstrated ability to manage automation projects, vendors, and FAT/SAT activities.

• Experience in process industrialization, qualification, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).

• Experience integrating vision systems, motion control, and safety interlocks.

• Familiarity with programming languages (Python, C++, or Java) for data interfaces or simulation.

• Knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks, Siemens NX) for tooling and layout design.

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate site installation works with in-house supervisor and foremen to ensure the project schedule is met.
• Attending site coordinate meetings with main-con, consultants and other contractors.
• Hands-on and technical assistance for Mechanical System installation and troubleshooting onsite.
• Prepare material requisition for all Mechanical equipment and materials.
• Prepare work programme for Mechanical works with material delivery and installation activities in accordance with the project programme.
• Analyse, manage and track project costs against budget.
• Carry out testing and commissioning, combined services testing for TOP/CSC,  
• Handover of completed work activities with as built drawings and O&M to respective authorities or clients to in timely manner and delivery with desired quality standards.
• Coordination with other trade of contractors such as Electrical System, Process System, Structural etc.
• Participate in in-house engineering design works of Mechanical system, including detailed design, shop drawings, hydraulic calculation, duct/pipe sizing, equipment selection, etc.
• Review 3D BIM model and ensure correct the installation details, compliance with design specifications and guidelines.
• Participate in liaison with Mechanical System’s suppliers for quotation, carry out equipment selection, technical and commercial evaluation.
• Prepare material submittals for Mechanical system to the Consultant for approval.
• Coordinate with project schedule in organizing Purchase Order, arrange timely delivery of all Mechanical System’s equipment and materials.
• Participate in tender preparation for new projects.

Requirements

• Min Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering with ACMV / Fire Protection / Plumbing & Sanitary Background
• Min 8 years of relevant working experience in building construction industry, preferable in handling ACMV / Fire Protection / Plumbing & Sanitary works.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Experienced and possessed relevant design knowledge in Mechanical System is an advantage.
