Summary of Position:
- We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Broker to join our dynamic team. The role involves managing and growing a portfolio of Third-Party Liability clients, providing tailored insurance solutions, and delivering exceptional service to meet client needs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial lines or casualty lines, products include but not limited to: Directors & Officers (D&O), Errors & Omissions (E&O), Professional Indemnity, Cyber Insurance, Combined General Liability, Public Liability, Product Liability, Product Recall and even Intellectual Property Insurance covers.
Key Responsibilities &Accountabilities:
· Client Relationship Management:
o Develop andmaintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
o Understandclients’ insurance needs and provide bespoke financial lines solutions.
· Policy Placement and Management:
o Negotiate termsand coverage with underwriters.
o Securecompetitive and comprehensive insurance policies for clients.
o Manage renewals,endorsements, and policy adjustments.
· Market Expertise:
o Stay updated onindustry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments.
o Advise clientson risk management strategies and emerging risks in financial lines.
· Business Development:
o Identify andpursue new business opportunities within the financial lines segment.
o Prepare anddeliver tailored proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
· Collaboration:
o Work closelywith internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
o Collaborate withclaims specialists to support clients during claims processes.
· Compliance:
o Ensure allactivities comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
Functional & Behavioural Competencies required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of broking experience, specifically in Third-PartyLiability risks.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize taskseffectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACII, ANZIIF) are a plus.
