Key Responsibilities

1. Client Inquiry Management:

• Handle email, walk-in, and call-in inquiries promptly and professionally.

Job Summary

We are seeking a contract finance executive to support month-end and year-end close activities, with a primary focus on General Ledger and maintaining day-to-day account. This role will partner closely with the finance team to prepare journal entries and data entries, ensure accurate transaction recording, complete timely account reconciliations, assist with financial data clean-up and liaise with auditor in the upcoming annual financial audit.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, brings strong hands-on experience in GL and data entry operations, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

1.       Manage day-to-day General Ledger and data entries.

2.       Support timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.

3.       Ensure all account reconciliations are complete, accurate, and properly documented.

4.       Perform intercompany reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies.

5.       Assist with tax computations and statutory filings, including corporate tax and GST.

6.       Support external audit requirements and respond to auditor inquiries.

7.       Maintain compliance with company accounting policies and financial reporting standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

·        Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.

·        Minimum of 2 years’ experience in full-set accounting, with a focus on General Ledger.

·        Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and lookups); experience with ERPsystems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365/Business Central.

·        Experience with Plato clinic system is an advantage.

·        Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

·        Strong time management skills, able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

·        Team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Contract Terms & Additional Information

• Contract Duration: 1 year, with potential for extension or conversion based on business needs.
• Immediate availability preferred; candidates with a short notice period will also be considered.

• Review subsidiaries' monthly accounts, reporting packages, and tax filing documents, ensuring accurate and timely month-end closing and tax submissions.
• Conduct variance analysis and prepare key financial reports for management.
• Coordinate with outsourced accountants, company secretaries, auditors, and tax consultants for subsidiaries.
• Oversee group forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies, guidelines, and internal control systems set by Head Office.
• Support other financial matters as needed.
