Requirements:

• A BSc or MSc in Bioinformatics or similar field (Life Science or Computational Science graduates with keen interest in bioinformatics welcomed)

• Experience with working with biological data

• Good communication skills to communicate with life science/medical researchers to understand biological problems and communicate analytical results

• Customer focused approach to collaboration

• Ability to understand biological problems and translate them to computational problems

• Ability to code in a programming language to solve computational problems

• Awareness of computational infrastructure and its upkeep

• Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel and set priorities

• Willingness to provide training to staff and students in the area of bioinformatics

• Keen interest in the field of bioinformatics and willingness to try new methods and improve on existing ones

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the multidisciplinary care team to provide clients with a seamless delivery of care which is of high-quality, safe and cost-efficient and communicate and work effectively with the team in executing individualised care plan for clients require custodial care, maintenance activities and/or rehabilitation services
• Assist in preparing the rehabilitation room(s), occupational therapy room by following prescribed procedures and protocols, including tidying therapy areas and assisting in cleaning of equipment and area(s)
• Prepare clients for physical or occupational therapies treatment by welcoming and providing and assisting clients into therapeutic apparels, and escorting elderly clients to the washroom
• Assist the therapist(s) in implementing rehabilitation programmes and therapy works to clients including setting up / supervising / assisting clients in the performance of therapeutic activities / exercises, such as helping clients onto exercise equipment, positioning clients on equipment, and monitoring motion and performing prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques, etc
• Educate clients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines
• Assist in setting up inventory list of equipment and medical supplies by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; and verifying receipt of supplies
• Ensure operation of rehabilitation equipment by completing routine maintenance requirements; following manufacturers’ instructions; troubleshooting and reporting of malfunctions; calling for repairs
• Assist in preparing materials for conducting of recreational programmes and events
• Assist FHGCC’s driver in transporting client from home to FHGCC and return trip when assigned
• Perform basic data entry and retrieval of data when required

Requirements

• Certificate in Therapy Services
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office – MS Word and Excel

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Assistant to manage our Accounts Receivable (AR) function. The successful candidate will be responsible for invoicing, collections, customer account reconciliations, and supporting overall finance operations to ensure timely and accurate cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

• Prepare, issue, and post customer invoices and credit notes accurately and on time
• Monitor AR ageing and follow up with customers on outstanding payments
• Perform receipts processing and matching against invoices
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries
• Perform monthly AR reconciliation and support month-end closing

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare AR reports, statements of accounts, and cash collection updates
• Maintain proper filing of invoices, contracts, and supporting documents
• Ensure AR records are accurate and up to date

Support & Coordination

• Liaise with sales, operations, and customers on billing and payment matters
• Assist with audit requests and internal controls related to AR
• Support other accounting and finance tasks as assigned
