The National University of Singapore is inviting applications for a Research Assistant position in the Department of Medicine at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The selected candidate will join a team of scientists led by Research Assistant Professor Koh Cho Yeow at the Cardiovascular Research Institute (CVRI). Job Summary

The Warehouse Assistant (Receiving) is responsible for the accurate receiving, checking, recording, and storage of incoming goods. This role ensures that all deliveries are handled efficiently, documented correctly, and stored in accordance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Verification

• Receive incoming goods and deliveries from suppliers and transporters.
• Check quantity, quality, and condition of goods against delivery orders and invoices.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the Warehouse Supervisor promptly.

Documentation & Records

• Ensure all receiving documents are properly completed and filed.
• Update inventory records accurately in the system or manual logs.
• Maintain proper labelling and identification of received items.

Storage & Inventory Control

• Arrange received goods in designated storage locations.
• Follow FIFO, FEFO, or company stock rotation practices.
• Assist in stock counts, cycle counts, and annual stock take exercises.

Housekeeping & Compliance

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the receiving and storage areas.

Support Duties

Job Summary
