-Serve as acting General Manager (GM) when GM is away

Location: Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 1

Remuneration package: SGD2,800 to SGD$3,500 Basic + Shift Allowance + AWS + Variable Bonus

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, Rotating shifts up to 44 hours, 1st shift (7.30am-5.03pm), 2nd shift (1.30pm - 10.38pm), 3rd shift (10.30pm - 7.38am)

Primary Job Purpose:

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance of production equipment.

• Diagnose and repair faulty production equipment.

• Track and manage production spare parts for the equipment.

• Participant in problem identification and brainstorming of resolution.

• Support engineers in their engineering evaluation session and equipment development.

• Support in new production line setup and equipment buy-off.

• Assists engineer to carry out continuous improvement projects.

Job Requirements:      

• Diploma in Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Manufacturing environment. Candidate without prior experience but willing to try out may apply.

• Must be comfortable to perform rotating shift (Day and Night shift) and perform overtime when needed

• Experience in SMT, wirebond or automation (motion/vision control) will be advantage

• Knowledge in ISO 9000/QS 9000 preferred

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare, maintain, and update technical files, SOPs, and MDR-related documents in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, traceable, and audit-ready and assist with internal audits, record management, and quality improvement activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers for material requisitions and manage defect reports or returns.
• Collaborate with the QMS team to ensure adherence to internal quality processes and regulatory compliance.
• Handle production assembly, in-process inspection, and complete final testing together with the QA team.
• Provide technical support, including machine setup, evaluation, assembly, testing of automation machines/medical equipment, user training, and after-sales service.
• Perform basic mechanical and electrical assembly tasks with guidance and on-the-job training.
• Follow up promptly to ensure issues are resolved according to company standards and timelines.
• Any other tasks assigned by superior if required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics or related field.

• For diploma holders, at least 5 years of relevant working experience preferred.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Able to work independently, proactive, and willing to learn.

• Able to adapt to a fast-paced, regulated environment.

• Proficient in MS Office (Words, Excel & Powerpoint)

• Required to work in cleanroom environment at some times. (Need to wear cleanroom jumpsuit)

• Conduct soil investigation for the proposed site
• Installation of soil instrumentation for monitoring
• Site management and quality control on core samples
• Good technical coordination with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors
• Meetings with respective site personnel
• Monitoring, reporting, data logs on-site works and instrumentation
• Analysis of SI data (Boring, CPT, PMT)
• Analysis of Monitoring data (SP, PP, IN, WS)

• Capable of handling, coordinating and management of site
• Able to liaise with all levels
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or related
• Fresh graduates may also apply
• Site Investigation/Instrumentation Supervisors ceritificate preferred

1. Assist Project Manager/Engineer in Site installation work
2. Prepare BQ of the project
3. Prepare and submit daily report.
4. Assist in Electrical design for SLD & Layout Plan.
5. Assist in submission of material sample for approval
6. Implement site safety policy & practice
7. Plan for manpower deployment.
8. Assist in testing & commissioning
9. Assist in preparing the Shop drawing, As-built drawing.
