We are seeking FPGA expertise to join our mission-critical engineering team. In this dual-function role, you will translate customer and system-level requirements into detailed FPGA specifications, while also performing hands-on FPGA design, verification, and system-level integration. You will ensure that FPGA-based subsystems function correctly within the larger electronic warfare, avionics, or communication systems

• System Engineering Duties : Elicit, analyze, andmanage system-level requirements. Define system architecture and allocaterequirements to hardware, software, and FPGA subsystems. Develop systemverification plans and traceability matrices. Conduct trade-off studies(performance, power, cost, schedule) for FPGA vs. other processing solutions(DSP, GPU, MCU). Lead design reviews and interface with customers on technical specifications.
• FPGA Design Duties : Architect, code (VHDL/Verilog), simulate, and implement FPGA designs on Xilinx or Intel platforms. Perform synthesis, place-and-route, timing closure, and power analysis. Develop test benches and verification environments (including self-checking and coverage-driven verification). Integrate IP cores (third-party or legacy) and design custom interfaces (PCIe, JESD204B, Ethernet, ADC/DAC controllers). Debug FPGA-related system issues using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and JTAG debuggers.
• Integration & Validation : Support hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and system-level integration. Work alongside software engineers to validate driver and firmware interactions. Generate documentation, requirements specification, design description, verification report, and user manual.
• Prepare comprehensive firmware/software documentation by converting software and interface requirements into clear and concise development specifications.

Qualities We Value

• Bachelor/Masters in electrical engineering, computer engineering or systems engineering
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of combined experience in systems engineering and FPGA development
• Familiar with systems engineering processes (ISO 15288 or similar)
• Familiar with scripting (Python, Tcl, or Bash) for automation
• Understanding of verification & validation (V&V) methodologies
• Understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) fundamentals is a plus
• Experience with both system thinking and deep FPGA expertise
• Experience with requirements management tools

1. Position Summary

The Junior Site Engineer will support day-to-day site operations for construction and semiconductor facility projects. This role involves coordinating subcontractors, conducting on-site inspections, preparing reports, and ensuring that works comply with project specifications, safety requirements, and schedule.
Semiconductor cleanroom and MEP experience will be considered a strong advantage.

2. Key Responsibilities

Site Coordination & Supervision

• Assist in supervising daily site works and ensure compliance with drawings, method statements, and specifications.

• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure smooth progress of construction and MEP installation.

• Monitor material deliveries, installation quality, and site progress.

Technical & Documentation

• Review and interpret Architectural, Structural, and MEP drawings.

• Prepare Daily Site Reports, progress photos, and inspection records.

• Assist in preparing method statements, material submissions, and work schedules.

• Support the RFI (Request for Inspection) and QA/QC process.

Semiconductor Facility Support (Advantage)

• Assist with cleanroom work coordination (gowning, contamination control, zoning).

• Support MEP works related to CDA, N2, DI Water, Exhaust, HVAC, and tool hook-up.

• Participate in PTW (Permit-To-Work) workflow such as Hot Work, Work at Height, and Confined Space.

• Assist in shutdown, fit-out, or equipment installation activities (if required).

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all works comply with WSH regulations and site safety requirements.

• Report unsafe practices and participate in toolbox meetings and safety briefings.

• Follow LOTO and semiconductor fab safety rules where applicable.

3. Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building, or related fields.

• Candidates with relevant site experience will also be considered.

Technical Skills

• Able to read and understand construction and MEP drawings.

• Basic knowledge of measurement tools and site inspection procedures.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic AutoCAD experience preferred.

• English proficiency is required (written and spoken).

Experience (Advantage)

• Experience working in semiconductor facilities (FAB / Cleanroom).

• Familiarity with PTW procedures (Hot Work, Work at Height, Confined Space).

• Knowledge of MEP systems such as ducting, piping, cable tray, or process utilities.

• Experience in tool hook-up or shutdown activities is a strong plus.

6. About the Role

This position is suitable for candidates who wish to grow in the construction and semiconductor facility industry. Training will be provided, and high-performing staff will be offered opportunities for advancement to Site Engineer, MEP Engineer, or Assistant Project Manager.
