Job Summary

Support administrative functions and prepare various reports to ensure smooth office operations and contribute to project coordination within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks to support daily office operations and project needs
• Prepare accurate and timely reports to assist management decision-making
• Manage data entry and documentation using Microsoft Excel, Works, and PowerPoint to maintain organized records
• Handle ad-hoc assignments as required to support team and project objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in administration within the construction industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Works, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities:

• Report directly to Mechancial Department Head in all matters
• Supporting Engineers and Senior Engineers in day to day operation
• Supervise and ensure safety of vessel maintenance and repair works.
• Leading a team of Technician to perform repair and maintenance onboard ships
• Carry out troubleshooting and rectification of mechanical/diesel defects.
• Perform joint inspection and acceptance with ship representative
• Hands on work in rectification of defects and maintenance of mechanical components
• Ensure quality of work performed by ownself and technician deployed
• Assist in logistic support, lifting of equipment and workshop equipments etc

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical / Marine Engineering
• Able to use IMTE Tools such as Torque Wrench, Pressure gauges, Internal and External Micrometer
• Able to work under pressure
• Able to work in a team
• Able to perform hands on work
• Able to work in shipyard environment – heat, grease, dust
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel
• Only Singapore Citizens will be considered for this role

Job Requirement:

• 1-2 Years of experience in cloud infrastructure, systems administration, or related technical roles.
• AWS Cloud practitioner certification.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (subnets, routing, DNS).
• Linux administration basics.
• Awareness of cost optimization and cloud security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, ALB/NLB, EBS, IAM, and Route 53.
• Manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform across Development, UAT, and Production environments.
• Monitor system performance and availability using CloudWatch and CloudWatch Logs Insights and respond to alerts.
• Assist in incident triage and contribute to root cause analysis (RCA).
• Support IAM policy management, security group audits, and access control best practices.
• Assist in deployment and troubleshooting of endpoint security tools (e.g., CrowdStrike Falcon).
• Perform backup and recovery operations using AWS Backup solutions.
• Execute patch management and routine system health checks for Linux and Windows systems to ensure security and compliance.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and networking issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain technical documentation, including runbooks, SOPs, and architecture diagrams.
• Support implementation projects by assisting senior engineers with documentation and tracking project timelines.
• Handle minor configurations and business-as-usual (BAU) operational tasks independently.
• Support ongoing AWS initiatives, including upcoming AI-related projects
