The Job:

• Establish standard operating procedures for product engineering and manufacturing processes on the testing floor
• Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential process failures
• Review and analyze test yield data to identify issues and implement yield improvement actions
• Determine disposition for hold lots based on yield and quality analysis
• Perform device and hardware tester qualification, correlation, and generate associated reports
• Develop and execute Design of Experiments (DOE) to optimize testing and manufacturing processes
• Resolve technical issues related to device testing to support manufacturing operations effectively
• Liaise with customers to understand and implement new production specifications during New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Coordinate device startup and transfer activities to ensure smooth production transitions

Position Summary

The Engineer, Product Development (Fresh Grad) is responsible for the developmentand establishment of new product and transfer process into production.

Responsibilities

• New product development as requested by customer and internal roadmap, and transfer into production
• New material, process & machine development and qualification, and transfer into production
• Troubleshoot process issues and improve process capabilities, yield and cycle time from customer NPI stage to LVM/HVM stage.
• Establish, review and update specifications, workflow, quality and safety related documentation for new products and transfer to production line.
• Coordinate and liaise with vendor/suppliers on process issue or quality issue.
• Support customer NPI activities and internal engineering activities.
• Handle and manage customer audits and 8D reports.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science, Microelectronics, Electrical or Chemical engineering.
• Knowledge in process engineering, process control engineering and yield enhancement preferred

What will your role be:

• Under the guidance of a senior Product Lead or Growth Lead, participate in the formulation and execution of product growth strategies for 0-to-1 or 1-to-10 product development, and focus on core metrics including user acquisition, retention, engagement and conversion.
• Conduct user research and market research through quantitative and qualitative methods, and gain insights into user needs and behavioral paths by means of data analysis, user interviews and other approaches.
• Participate in the market validation of core or new product features, design experiments (e.g., A/B testing), develop indicator systems, and drive their implementation.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, data and other teams to promote GTM (Go-to-Market) projects in various scenarios, such as feature launches, cold start strategies and content recommendation optimization.
• Track key data after product launch, identify problems, summarize methodologies, and participate in iterative optimization.
• Learn and participate in formulating refined targeting strategies for products across different user groups (e.g., new users/high-frequency users/international users), including push notification and operational activity strategies.
• Develop a deep understanding of the characteristics of AI products, and enhance product thinking for C-end users, growth awareness, and cross-team communication and collaboration capabilities through practice.

What an ideal candidate means to us:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in science and engineering fields such as Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Engineering is preferred.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, etc.), with strong logical thinking and structured analysis capabilities.
• A keen interest in user growth, product iteration, market validation and related fields, with strong product sensitivity and data insight.
• Basic understanding of the product development process, with good awareness of cross-team communication and collaboration.
• Fluent in English as a working language, and able to adapt to a multicultural team environment.
• A strong sense of curiosity and self-motivation, with a willingness to continuously learn and take on challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Overseas study experience or practical experience in international product internships/projects is a plus.
