We are seeking a creative Visual Communication & Marketing Intern with an interest in niche fragrances. This role focuses on translating scent into visual storytelling and strengthening the consumer experience both online and offline.

As fragrance cannot be experienced digitally, you will help communicate the essence of our products through thoughtful visuals, content creation, and marketing initiatives. Your work will support brand awareness, deepen consumer understanding, and contribute to sales growth.

1. Visual Communication

• Develop creative and visually compelling content that communicates the unique qualities and stories behind Scent Journer fragrances.
• Translate scent concepts into visual narratives that help consumers imagine and understand the fragrance experience.
• Including photography, AI, graphics, and short-form videos.

2. Offline Brand Experience

• Assist in developing packaging concepts, point-of-sale materials, and physical brand collaterals.
• Support visual presentation for events, product launches, and retail displays.

3. Creative Marketing Initiatives

• Contribute ideas for lean marketing campaigns, collaborations, and storytelling concepts that build brand awareness and drive sales.
• Support initiatives that improve product presentation and average order value, including visual merchandising and product bundles.

• Strong interest in branding, visual storytelling, and niche fragrances.
• Ability to create visual content (photography, design, or short-form video).
• Strong sense of aesthetics, composition, and brand consistency.
• Creative thinker with the ability to contribute marketing ideas.
• Proactive and able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Chinese language proficiency is highly preferred.
• Experience creating content for XiaoHongShu is a strong advantage.

This role is to support the Design & Technology and Art teaching teams in the upkeep and management of workshops, maker spaces, and art studios, ensuring they are safe, well-organised, and equipped for creative learning. The Technician will assist in preparing materials, maintaining resources, and supporting practical lessons both within and outside the classroom. The aim is to create an inspiring, secure, and nurturing environment where students can explore creativity, develop technical skills, and enjoy hands-on learning experiences.

Responsibilities

Design & Technology

• Under the direction of the School DT and STEM Team Lead, participate fully in the preparation of student-centred learning activities and support teaching and learning where necessary

• Ensure that the environment in the Maker Spaces and DT Workshop is well-managed, properly ordered, neatly presented, and that inventory and resources are maintained

• Ensure that the equipment in the Maker spaces is kept well and utilised regularly for various projects and learning opportunities

• Supporting wood, metal, plastics, textiles, electronics and CAD/CAM projects

• Maintaining machinery, hand tools, laser cutters, 3D printers, and sewing machines

• Preparing materials for prototyping, model-making and product design

• Supporting GCSE / IGCSE / A-level style coursework and project work

• Provide training and assistance to the school DT team with regard to the equipment in the Maker Spaces.

• Liaise with teaching staff and prepare for Taster days and Open Houses, miscellaneous workshops and competitions.

Art Support

• In addition to Design & Technology, the post-holder will provide practical and technical support to the Art Department, particularly in the preparation, organisation and presentation of materials and exhibitions.

• Prepare art materials and resources for lessons, exhibitions, and student projects.

• Maintain art studios and ensure proper storage and handling of supplies (e.g., paints, canvases, digital art tools).

• Assist in setting up displays for student artwork and school exhibitions.

• Provide guidance and technical assistance for students working on art projects, including digital media.

General

• To provide any other reasonable duties delegated by the School Management.

• Work with Health and Safety and facilities teams in ensuring safety and compliance with the regulations in place for workshops and studios to be able to operate seamlessly

• Representing the Design & Technology and Art department as a member of the Health & Safety Committee.

• Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection.

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.

Position Requirements

• Ability to work under pressure and use of initiative is essential

• Possess highly developed interpersonal and teamwork skills

• Excellent verbal and written English skills

• Mentor pupils on their personal Design and Technology and Art projects

• Experience working as a Design & Technology technician, workshop technician, maker space technician or art technician

• Knowledge of workshop production methods and their safe operations (ie woodworking tools)

• Willingness to learn and grow new skills on the job

• Experience with Textiles/sewing and digital production tools (preferred)

• International experience (preferred).

• An international outlook and understanding of working in diverse environments.

• At least 1 year of experience in working with children or a relevant educational certificate/diploma required.

YOUR MISSION_________ 

We are recruiting a Visual Merchandising Intern to join our Parfums Christian Dior Singapore team. 

RETAIL STORES 

• Establish and maintain an image database of all boutiques and counters, ensuring that all relevant information is accurate and up-to-date. 

• Assist with stores maintenance, repair, and cleaning services, ensuring that all stores meet company standards for cleanliness and appearance. 

• Communicate & coordinate effectively with the relevant parties involved (such as contractors, retail team, store managers, IT team etc) keeping them informed of maintenance schedules, setup plans, and any relevant updates. 

• Assist with setup and set down for permanent boutiques / counters / popup stores. 

ANIMATION + EVENTS 

• Liaise with third party supplier/installer for material samples, ensuring that all necessary materials are procured in a timely manner. 

• Follow up with production status to ensure material used and fabrication method are correct and aligned with the design intention. 

• Assist with setup and set down for events. 

• To do site survey when required, new stores or counter or event venue. 

BUSINESS & ADMINSTRATIVE SUPPORT: 

• Fixtures inventory check in (contractor’s factory & storeroom) and file update. 

• Providing administrative support to the team. 

• Other duties as assigned.
