We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Store Manager to lead the daily operations of the outlet and manage the ground team on site.

Job Summary

The Store Manager is an on-site, hands-on role responsible for the daily operations, team management, customer service standards, safety, cleanliness, and overall performance of the outlet. This person will lead by example, ensure smooth operations during opening and closing, and drive revenue while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the outlet and ensure smooth running of all activities
• Lead, supervise, and manage the outlet team, including duty roster planning, attendance monitoring, and daily deployment
• Ensure high standards of customer service and handle customer feedback or complaints professionally
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, presentation, and operational readiness of the outlet at all times
• Monitor ticketing, admissions, retail sales, party bookings, and other revenue-related activities
• Ensure all staff follow company SOPs, safety rules, and service standards
• Conduct on-site briefing, training, and performance coaching for staff
• Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting
• Monitor stock levels for operational supplies, retail items, and other outlet needs
• Coordinate with maintenance, suppliers, mall management, and internal departments when required
• Support marketing campaigns, festive events, school holiday activities, and promotional launches at outlet level
• Track outlet performance and assist management in improving sales, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma qualification; Degree is an advantage
• At least 3–5 years of experience in outlet operations, retail, F&B, attractions, playgrounds, entertainment, or related service industry
• Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Hands-on, responsible, and able to solve problems on the ground efficiently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and public holidays
• Familiar with daily operations reporting, scheduling, service recovery, and staff supervision
• Comfortable managing customer-facing operations and handling peak crowd situations
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Sheets/Docs is preferred

Preferred Experience

• Experience in indoor playgrounds, family entertainment centres, activity venues, attractions, theme parks, or hospitality-related operations
• Experience handling front-line teams, shift planning, and outlet KPI performance
• Strong awareness of operational safety, cleanliness, and customer experience

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a dependable and mature Store Manager who is willing to be physically present on site, lead the team from the front, and take ownership of the outlet’s daily performance. This is not a desk-bound HQ role. It is a hands-on outlet leadership role that requires strong execution, discipline, and people management.

About the Role

Aureus Group is looking for Centre Managers who can lead and mentor a team of Customer Service Executives in the direction of working towards the company goals. They need to be equipped with strong organization and sales skills, with extensive product knowledge and able to provide excellent customer service in order to ensure that he/she can promote the company and our programmes effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct assigned number of outgoing sales calls daily
• Achieve assigned monthly lead generation, sales/ enrolments and lead-conversion targets, in addition to any other targets that may be set by the management in relation to centre growth
• Cultivate team members through effective on-the-ground mentoring and ensure they achieve their individual management-assigned targets
• Answer all incoming phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner
• Conduct sales activities and events to support the team with lead generation and conversions
• Retain existing customers through effective problem solving and ensure that all team members uphold the highest quality of service standards at all times
• Ensure desirable centre growth by providing excellent customer service and mitigate student turnover
• Maintain or exceed assigned closure or conversion rate target for all trials to enrolments to ensure maximum output from leads.
• Plan, manage, and execute teacher growth plans in order to achieve monthly teacher targets assigned by the management for respective centre
• Performing any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management
• General Administration

Hiring Criteria:

• At least 2-3 years’ experience in the customer service field, with at least 1 year in a manager-level position
• Must be available to work retail hours and on both weekends
• Strong sense of adaptability and leadership
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English (Being bilingual/trilingual would be an advantage)
• Goal-driven individuals with the ability to focus and prioritise tasks that drive the growth of the centre
• Positive, extroverted, and outgoing personality with the passion for customer service

Core Responsibilities:

Daily Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of the outlet, including room bookings, front desk check-ins, cleaning schedules, and maintenance of sound systems and equipment.

Staff Leadership & Training: Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate front-of-house (service staff, receptionists) and back-of-house teams to maintain high service standards.

Sales & Financial Performance: Drive sales by implementing marketing initiatives, managing promotions, and meeting revenue targets. Monitor daily cash flow and prepare financial reports.

Customer Service Excellence: Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to ensure high satisfaction rates.

Inventory & Supplier Management: Manage stock levels for food, beverages, and other supplies; manage supplier relationships and inventory audits.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal regulations, fire safety standards, and hygiene standards.

Job Requirements:

Experience: Usually 3–5 years of experience in retail, hospitality, or entertainment management.

Skills: Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of POS systems and sound/lighting equipment.

Flexibility: Willingness to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.
