You will be part of the technical specialists working at the waste management facilities including Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) - a large-scale waste management infrastructural project, and Tuas South Incineration Plant (TSIP).

· You may be part of the project team to supervise IWMF construction progress.

The work scope includes:

1. To work with project consultants and key stakeholders, such as other government agencies, on the design of the various facilities in IWMF and ensure that IWMF is constructed, erected, installed in accordance with design specifications and complying with statutory requirement.
2. To participate in the testing, commissioning of mechanical, process, or electrical, instrument, control and automation equipment/systems.
3. To attend factory acceptance tests (FATs) at local and overseas factories to witness and verify quality and performance of major equipment/systems.

· You may be part of the technical team in the operation and maintenance of TSIP. Your work scope includes:

1. To lead a team of technical supervisors and specialists and coordinate maintenance work between contractors and maintenance sections to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient operations of the waste-to-energy facility.
2. To implement preventive maintenance and overhaul programs for the facility's electrical and control equipment such as turbo-generators, motors, switchgears, low tension and high tension equipment, distributed control system and field instruments.
3. To administer contracts for the operation and maintenance of mechanical, EICA or building services equipment
4. To enforce permit-to-work system and safe work culture including supervising contractors’ work for quality and safety
5. To formulate and prepare standard operating and safety procedures, equipment testing / changeover programmes
6. To perform shift work in a waste-to-energy facility, if needed
7. To work closely with the management of TSIP to implement initiatives on safety and continuous improvement to enhance the safety culture and standards within the plant, as well as drive projects to achieve operational excellence.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Structural Engineering, Chemical, Environmental Engineering)
• Preferably with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply*.

As a Data Engineer, you will be a key member of the Data Management and Operations team, ensuring a robust data infrastructure, upholding data quality and data governance rules and efficient functioning of data pipelines. What you will be working on

You will be involved in a range of tasks including the following:

• Infrastructure Architecture & Cloud Management: Design and manage robust, scalable data infrastructure utilising AWS and other cloud platforms based on project requirements. • Data Pipeline Development & Implementation: Design and implement efficient data models and pipelines for ingestion, processing, and distribution of largescale datasets. Collaborate with external vendors to enable secure data exchange through APIs, including the development of API Swagger specifications required for vendors to build and integrate their API endpoints.
• Data Quality & Standards Management: Lead comprehensive data quality initiatives establishing standards for accuracy and reliability across all systems. Diagnose and resolve data pipeline issues while contributing to incident response and post-mortem reviews. Maintain rigorous quality control processes throughout the data lifecycle.
• AI & Machine Learning Collaboration: Collaborate closely with AI engineers to provide optimised data solutions for machine learning projects. Emphasise seamless data flow and accessibility for AI model development and deployment. Ensure data infrastructure supports advanced analytics and machine learning requirements.
• Documentation & Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on data architecture, procedures, and management practices. Ensure clarity and consistency of documentation across all teams and projects. Create accessible resources that support effective data management practices.
• Automation & Integration Solutions: Leverage innovative tools and architectures to automate common, repeatable, and error-prone data preparation tasks. Minimise manual processes whilst improving overall productivity and efficiency.

Implement automated data integration solutions that reduce operational overhead.

• Governance & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with data governance teams to vet and promote high-quality content for governed reuse. Engage proactively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to refine requirements and co-design solutions. Support creation and maintenance of curated data catalogues for organisational use.
• Training & Continuous Improvement: Facilitate knowledge sharing and technical training sessions on data management best practices and tools. Requirements

• Proficiency in data engineering practices (including versioning, release management, deployment of datasets, agile & related software tools) and building scalable data pipelines.
