Design and develop series of marking/inspection/ sorting/customised semiconductor equipment to meet the processing and automation needs of customers. Main duties involve:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Having Process design of Gas compression system including Process Flow Diagram (PFD), P&ID, Process safety diagram (PSD) and Heat & Mass Balance.
• Prepare and review Gas Compression P&ID
• Have the competency to run Aspen HYSYS simulation
• Able to perform sizing for pipeline within the Gas compression skid, Pulsation bottle, Scrubber (with internal), cooler, and PSV.
• Prepare the PSV sizing, settle-out and blowdown calculation report.
• Prepare Fire Fighting system design and hydraulic calculation for Gas compression skid
• Able to prepare Operating, control & Safeguarding philosophies.
• Able to work independently in process datasheets and line list

THE ROLE: 

The focus of this role is to plan, build, and execute the verification of new and existing features for AMD’s SerDes IP, resulting in no bugs in the final design.   

THE PERSON:  

You have a passion for modern, complex SerDes architecture, digital design, and verification in general. We are seeking a Civil / Design Engineer to support and/or lead the civilengineering aspects of renewable energy and energy storage projects. Dependingon experience, the successful candidate will be hired at either Junior orSenior level.

This role involves close collaboration with Civil &Structural (C&S) consultants, ensuring compliance with local regulations,and supporting the successful execution of engineering designs and constructionworks. You will be part of a growing team delivering impactful sustainabilityprojects across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with Civil & Structural (C&S) consultants to develop structural schemes and perform engineering analyses
• Design and review civil engineering works including site development, drainage systems, earthworks, and infrastructure
• Oversee and/or support project execution, ensuring alignment with design specifications and timelines
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards, including BCA and SCDF requirements
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure smooth project delivery
• Attend project meetings and site visits, providing technical input and resolving engineering issues
• Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation such as drawings, reports, and specifications
• Promote and ensure adherence to safety standards across all project phases

Requirements

For Junior Engineers:

• Diploma / Higher Certificate in Civil Engineering or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates with strong internship experience may be considered)
• Basic knowledge of construction processes and local regulations (BCA, SCDF)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools

For Senior Engineers:

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in civil/structural design, consultancy, or construction
• Strong knowledge of Singapore regulations and approval processes
• Experience in project coordination and stakeholder management

For All Candidates:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Fluent in English; Mandarin is preferred to liaise with regional stakeholders
• Willingness to travel overseas (including China and regional project sites)

Additional Information
