Job Description

Reporting to the Head, EMBA Programme Management, the incumbent will serve as a Programme Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support for the EMBA programme. He/She will be paired with and assist existing team members to manage the upcoming cohort and contribute to the smooth execution of programme operations.

Class and participant management:

• Assist in the establishment of class committee and constitution
• Act as a Key Liaison in addressing general queries from students and ensure their programme experiences
• Support the promotion and delivery of student events
• Ensure students’ compliance to the University/School requirements which include conducting briefings to keep students updated with new policy/requirements

Qualifications

• At least a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.

• Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin are required, as the role involves frequent liaison with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders. Familiarity with Chinese cultural context will be an advantage in supporting effective stakeholder engagement.

• Have at least 15 years of relevant work experience in stakeholder engagement, strategy formulation and policy/programme implementation with at least 5 years in leading a team.

Job Summary

The Director of Finance is responsible for safeguarding the financial integrity, stability and performance of COMO Hotels and Resorts. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, drives financial planning and analysis, strengthens internal controls, oversees treasury and cash flow management, and partners with hotel operations to improve profitability and business performance.

Working closely with Property Financial Controllers/Director of Finance, General Managers and Corporate Leadership, the Director of Finance provides strategic financial guidance and operational support to achieve the Group’s financial objectives. The position acts as a deputy to the Vice President Finance on key financial and operational matters, supports hotel openings and corporate initiatives, and drives finance process improvements to promote consistency, compliance and operational excellence across the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting, Accounting & Consolidation

• Oversee the preparation, review and consolidation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for all properties, subsidiaries and corporate entities.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Director of Catering to support the overall catering sales strategy and drive revenue growth for the hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and securing corporate, MICE, wedding, and social event business while assisting in leading the catering sales team to achieve departmental objectives. This role requires strong sales acumen, leadership capabilities, and excellent client relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Generation

• Drive catering sales revenue through proactive solicitation of corporate, MICE, wedding, and social event business.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve departmental revenue targets.
• Conduct sales calls, client meetings, presentations, and hotel site inspections.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, event planners, and corporate partners.
• Negotiate contracts and close business opportunities effectively.
• Collaborate closely with Banquet Operations and other departments to ensure seamless event execution and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and maintain competitiveness.

Leadership & Team Management

• Support the Director of Sales in managing the daily operations of the catering sales department.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the catering sales team to achieve KPIs and revenue goals.
• Provide guidance and support to team members in handling client enquiries, negotiations, and event coordination.
• Foster a positive and high-performing team environment.

Administrative & Reporting

• Prepare sales forecasts, monthly reports, and revenue analysis.
• Maintain accurate account and booking records in Delphi, Opera, or relevant sales systems.
• Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic sales planning.
• Ensure all contracts, proposals, and event documentation are properly managed and updated.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of relevant hotel catering or event sales experience in Singapore.
• Prior supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MICE, weddings, and banquet operations.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems such as Delphi and Opera.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales growth and market expansion strategies to increase local cutting tool market share in Singapore
• Manage key client relationships to drive business development and customer retention
• Oversee P&L management and allocate resources to optimize financial performance
• Optimize operational processes and inventory levels to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Lead and manage the sales and operations team to achieve business objectives
• Prepare reports and collaborate effectively with headquarters to align strategies and operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Demonstrated minimum 15 years of sales experience, including at least 10 years in the cutting tool industry
• Proven minimum 5 years of management experience leading teams or departments
• Experience working within a global company environment
• Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engagement skills and structured training programmes for beneficiaries in Day Activity Centre and Sheltered Workshop.

• Supervise and assist individual, applying coaching, task breakdown, and behavioural support strategies.

• Create visual aids, task analyses, and structured routines to facilitate learning and skill development.

• Collaborate with beneficiaries, families, instructors, Allied Professionals, alumni, and community partners to support holistic care and engagement.

• Maintain programme documentation, progress records, and assist with operational planning and administrative duties.

• Support centre events, community initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts, demonstrating flexibility to meet programme and operational needs.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
