Expected Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Solution Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Payments Engineering, or similar technical customer-facing roles

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field OR equivalent practical experience

• Strong understanding of API-based platforms, system integration, and distributed systems

• Experience working with payments, fintech platforms, or financial infrastructure

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Proven ability to operate independently while leading cross-functional technical initiatives

Nice to Have (Preferred)

• Experience with payment gateways, PSPs, or platform products (e.g., Stripe, Connect-style models)

• Familiarity with blockchain, stablecoins, wallets, or on-chain settlement concepts

• Experience working with global merchants and cross-border payment flows

• Background in fintech compliance concepts (KYC, KYB, AML, settlements)

PURPOSE OF JOB

The incumbent will be responsible for the design change controls and product sustaining engineering initiatives.  He / She shall ensure that the product designs are validated per customer requirements, including domestic and international regulatory standards.

Utilize technical, project and leadership skills in the development, improvement and optimization of critical care products such as transducers and catheters. Apply technical principles, theories and concepts, as well as problem solving capabilities to resolve product design issues. Maintain design history files, determine test methods requirements, design verification, perform failure mode effect analysis and implement product-related solutions that improves performance and/or quality, as well as address shelf life requirements. 

Provide technical support for existing products with issues relating to regulatory compliance, customer complaints, process improvement and CAPA resolution. 

Keep abreast of potential new technologies to enable the design of new materials and capabilities. Leverage existing technologies to advance our core businesses while supporting the development of new products.

JOB FUNCTION

• Participate in Product Engineering efforts to validate / verify product design per customer requirements.

• Manage cost of sustaining engineering projects assigned.

• Make timely reports of progress, noting deviations from time or cost plans or customer design requirements.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Degree in Bio-Medical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering. 

• Minimum 3 years’ experience of product / process engineering in a medical device company or related industry.

• Experience in product design with thermoplastic knowledge, preferably in medical device industry, will be an advantage. 

• Knowledge in CAD Design / SolidWorks and statistical methods.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Knowledge of U.S FDA regulations, the Medical Devices Regulation (2017/745), ISO 13485 Quality System Standard, ISO 14971 Risk Management are an added advantage.

Job Description
Project Management

• Serve as primary point of contact between the client, relevant stakeholders and the company during construction stage.

• Attend site meetings for smooth coordination and occasionally support our internal sales team.

• Liaise with, manage and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless project execution.

• Develop project plans, checklists, timelines and oversee their implementation to our clients’ requirements.

• Oversee site assessments, installations, integration and after-sales maintenance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.

• Address any project-related issues or concerns promptly, striving to exceed client expectations at every stage.

• Manage submissions and approvals, ensuring regulatory compliance for our projects

Technical Expertise

• Develop simple System designs including layouts, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) of material and specifications of Balance of System (BOS). Good to know how to develop Single line diagram (SLD), schematic diagrams, basic electrical & mechanical structural calculation of sizing.
• Monitor System operations to ensure all systems are operating within expected conditions.
• Provide relevant support for technical design, including review and coordinate engineering drawing submissions to relevant qualified personnels or authorities.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in M&E sector, preferably solar PV industry, with good understanding of Solar PV design/engineering.
• Proficiency in PVsyst, Helioscope, or other system design simulation tools
• Willingness to work in an outdoor environment and perform office duties
