Role Overview:
Deskside Administrator shall deliver friendly, hands‑on support to end users. This is an entry‑level role where he/she will respond to incidents and service requests, troubleshoot common hardware and software problems, assist with device setup/imaging and lifecycle activities, and perform basic user administration tasks (password resets, access requests) following established SOPs. He/She will escalate complex issues to senior staff, help maintain asset records, update simple documentation, and communicate clearly with users and team members to ensure timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
1) End-User Support

• Provide basic deskside and onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Respond to IT incidents and service requests logged via the service desk system

Requirements:

The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for:

Supporting the company's quality control operations by conducting product testing and inspection activities to ensure products meet established quality standards and manufacturing requirements.

• Perform daily quality control testing to support manufacturing operations, incoming inspections, and recurring inspections.
• Assist in product quality investigations, including root cause analysis of customer complaints and production rejects, by reviewing records and conducting stability studies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance objectives, including First-Time Right and manufacturing performance targets.
• Assist in maintaining the ISO 9001 Quality Management System through documentation control, internal audits, and adherence to good laboratory practices.
• Maintain compliance with company quality, safety, and workplace health policies and procedures.
• Carry out other duties related to quality control and laboratory operations as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• NITEC, Diploma, or an equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in a quality control or laboratory environment within the chemical manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Experience operating laboratory equipment such as Gas Chromatographs (GC), Differential Scanning Calorimeters (DSC), Autotitrators, and Karl Fischer Titrators is an advantage.
• Basic computer literacy and attention to detail are advantageous.

The Manufacturing Technician (Chemical) will be responsible for:

Supporting chemical manufacturing operations by carrying out production activities in accordance with established work instructions, quality requirements, and safety standards to ensure efficient and reliable plant operations.

• Operate and perform various stages of chemical manufacturing processes in accordance with work instructions and established safety procedures.
• Carry out forklift and stacker operations, where required, to support production and material handling activities.
• Assist the Production Supervisor in troubleshooting process and product quality issues to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
• Perform batch processing activities in a production environment that includes both automated systems and manual operations.
• Participate in training and, where required, support the company's Emergency Response Team (ERT) in accordance with operational and safety requirements.
• Maintain compliance with company quality, safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or an equivalent qualification in Chemical Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in a chemical plant or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of or experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and/or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) is an advantage.
• Possession of a valid forklift driving licence is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and follow established safety procedures.
