Key Responsibilities:

• Setup and maintain Bill of Material (BOM) and process routing in SAP

The Site Engineer (Building) is responsible for assisting the Project Manager on the progress of site works and manpower related aspects of the project.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Monitor and review master construction program and preparation of catch-up program, if applicable.
• Monitor and supervise Engineers / foremen, ensure compliance to the quality procedures & standard of workmanship. Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors.
• Preparation of detailed program for the site team to follow accordingly & completed in time.

The Process Lab Engineer owns & oversees the operation, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of the process lab within a cleanroom environment. This role ensures Facility equipment functionalities, adherence to cleanroom standards, and provides critical support for daily operations like Customer demo build, process development, SW/HW testing, and other Engineering activities

• Ensure compliance with ISO cleanroom standards and internal quality requirements
• Ensure proper setup, calibration, and readiness of lab equipment for engineering support.
• Coordinate lab scheduling and usage across projects.

2.Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Facility, DI water equipment's and process gas supply systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with vendors when necessary and coordinate regular maintenance and yearly shutdown activities
• Maintain equipment logs, calibration records, and maintenance documentation.
• Support installation, qualification, and commissioning of new equipments.

3. Facilities & Utilities Management

• Oversee cleanroom-related facilities such as DIW, CDA, vacuum, power supply, and process gas systems.
• Work closely with facilities and EHS teams to ensure safe and reliable operations.
• Monitor utility usage and support optimization initiatives.
• Support audits (internal/external) and maintain proper documentation
• Conduct cleanroom training for internal team, customer and vendors
• Involve WEHS audit and take part in EHS activities

4. Process & Engineering Support

• Support process development, experiments, and failure analysis activities.
• Assist engineers in setting up experiments, data collection, and analysis.
• Ensure availability of materials, consumables, and lab supplies

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s /Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical).
• 5 years of experience in semiconductor front end/backend Equipment, cleanroom systems and Facility equipment mainatenance
• knowledge of cleanroom protocols and contamination control.
• Hands-on skills in equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Familiarity with facilities systems (DI Water system, gases, vacuum and process chiller) is a plus.
• Good documentation, communication and teamwork skills

Expertise and methodology

• Good in MS-Office, data analysis SW like JMP
• Possess solid technical aptitude, systematic problem solving skill set
• Facility operation & maintenance hands-on expertise

• Provide after sales on-site/off site service support, including pre-delivery checks, preventative maintenance, repairs and installation requests in a professional and efficient manner to help maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

• Provide high levels of technical support to external customers in a timely manner

• Travel interstate and overseas for training & service as workload requires

• Promotes the Equipment and Instrument Service Department and consistently seek out additional revenue streams and opportunities for growth.

• Forges strong relationships with customers through regular site visits/meetings associated with direct reports in order to understand customer needs and to further develop the associates.

• Supervises and ensure all faults are resolved promptly and that preventative maintenance is delivered to customer.

• Coordinate with supplier or vendors for all technical issue & warranty claims

• Provide service quotation for repair, maintenance & calibration and achieve profitable revenue.

• Explore alternatives to improve the effectiveness of department methods and procedures

• Performs other duties as assigned

  Job Requirements:

• Diploma in electronics/electricals/engineering is preferred.

• 2-5 years commercial experience in a field service engineer position, preferably within the life science or scientific industry

• Proficient in verbal communication in English to effectively support customers and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and take initiative

• Preferably possess own vehicle to customer sites to perform on‑site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
